Good IPS monitors are better for getting better vieing angles, a good tft moniter is all you need in the end, just make sure you don't get one with washed out colors. I bought 2 24" tft monitors for work and I've never been disapointed. Even at work where I have IPS it makes little difference. I could care less about viewing angles because I don't point my monitor away or anything like that.

Same panel does 120hz, they'll never even know if you overclocked it either way especially since all Monoprice/Microcenter are doing is buying the catleap panels that are rated for 120hz anyway.

If you want to go there anything regarding the entertainment medium that isn't a well written book or spent learning something relevant isn't worth your time. Being raised by an artist and an English teacher gave me appreciation for classic mediums of art and let's be honest, video games can never reach them. So any dollar put toward gaming on any level in rendered mute insantly from my eyes. They are truly a waste of time and not worth yours or mine much less time dedicated to an entire board called "system wars" where we sit and debate this stuff like politics.

Back to the matter at hand. If I think spending money on a top end experience is worth MY time then by all means what someone does with their money shouldn't be any business of yours deciding what money is spent on X and Y on medium Z. But apparently doing so makes people jealous, and I want to know why :P

I am a console fan and I don't hate the PC. Only those PC fanboys who treat consolites like crap.

Aren't we all just gaming enthusiastics? Enjoy your console and play your games, who gives a shit?

I don't hate them at all. Doesn't matter to me what they've got. But it is quite annoying when they go around saying this game and that game is superior on PC. It's annoying because it isn't accurate. The game is superior on a few PCs. They almost never bother to add in that little detail.

Also, my computer chair is more comfortable than 90% of the couches I've ever sat on. And a halfway decent computer monitor has better picture quality (contrast, color reproduction, etc.) than most TVs at the same resolution.
