I'll start.
The Playstation 2 only has two controller ports.

I know it is a handheld but still,
the 3ds xl doesn't have the circle pad pro built in,
I know that 3ds already whooped up vita,
but the built in circle pad would've guaranteed a flawless victory
PS3
Ill go again,
xbox 360
breakdowns went through 3 of them
gears of war series hasn't been ported ,
neither has shadow complex,
paying for online
Kinect
ms proprietary hard drive,
battery packs for controllers,
halo 4
that is all
PS4:No games
Vita:No games
PC:shitty ports,drm,origin,uplay,early access,crappy artsy games on steam
PS3:the controller
PS2:nothing
NES - Having to blow into the cartridges to make them work
3DO - Controller cord is way too short
360 - 2 RROD's
PS4 - Short controller battery life
This thread won't make it to a second page because Cows are contractually obligated to only say positive things about Sony.
I hate my Xbox 360 S so much I wana cry every time I look at it; its loud, has no sense of humor, restricts content on the hardrive, piss poor networking, sometimes when I'm not home I think its having an affair with the Microwave and Its not a Nintendo.
Snes...
Had the crap version of mortal kombat
Had a terrible edition of the nes advantage controller
For every amazing hobby defining game it imprinted on my brain, it had a steaming turd of a game to run along side it.
Hated Nintendo so much for this..
Alto they fix it for MK2...Which cost me $80 dollars by the way...grrrrrrrrr
PS4: I can't find one, at retail price, anywhere.
PS3:
Mandatory game/firmware patches (I hate buying a new game and waiting 30 minutes to play)
YLOD; I miss having BC for my PS2 library
"NES - Having to blow into the cartridges to make them work."
That was such a pain in the ass. There were a ton of tricks to getting the games to play, and it would usually take a combination of all of them, and 15 minutes, to get a game to load.
PC: Hardware upgrades. I've got a free PC from my employer, but it has 32-bit windows and a 250-watt PS; so I'm stuck using a GTX650 GPU (Asus "E" series) that runs off Mobo power. Technically I'm not supposed to upgrade it, and I feel like I'm already pushing it just sticking a GPU in it, so I'm hesitant to change the OS, install more RAM, and upgrade the power supply.
I hate how Ryse, contrary to popular belief, does actually demonstrate the Xbox one does in fact have some grunt and yet remains an utter pile of crap to play...Ive discovered that I can't play graphics only games unfortunately. And I don't like how my "diva box one" forces me to drop my regional accent and has me talking all posh to it as if it were royalty. Having a Yorkshire man pronounce his T's just Isn't right, makes me feel very uncomfortable. They were right about that creepy always on camera,it's already carrying out its covert etiquette program on me..i must obey..how now brown cow..i must obey..how now brown cow
Xbox One:
Initial load/updating/patching of games for the first time suck.
Its stupid and reeks of how rushed the system is that the TV stuff isn't enabled overseas yet.
Should have come with a Kinect TV mount in the box.
External hard drive support should have been available at launch.
All micro transactions for items/outfits/vehicles ect that cannot be attained for free through the regular game reeks of greediness.
No excuse for being unable to quickly access your memory settings and installed apps to delete whatever you don't want from the dashboard.
When the model 1 Genesis is connected to the SEGA CD and 32X, it's bigger than a pineapple (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rx0W9Me76n8). It looks beastly, but it's hard to find tv stands with glass doors that have enough width to fit it. It's also hard plugging everything at once (especially alongside other systems) without using multiple powerstrips, because the AC adapters are so huge.
I'll go with the NES
I hated the fact that bumping the console, floor, or anything nearby could often freeze your game.
Well, I'm pretty certain the SNES had 60% of good games in its gen, and the Sega Genesis had the other 40%.
That's the one bad thing about the SNES (my favorite console) is that no Nintendo/Sega collaboration ever took place where a Nintendo/Sega Mega-Entertainment-Drive-System was created.
So as good as the SNES is, the Genesis has so many good games from that era.
PC is the best
Someone can't read. lol!!

@Rayrota
: Well this is easy
XBox One: I hate the UI and the way the system looks.
PS4: I hate the UI and the way the system looks.
3DS: The 3D will sometimes give you headaches.
PSVita: Not enough games and hate the new OLED screen.
XBox 360: Hate the paywall even though it doesn't effect me much. Not enough free games for the GWG program. They need to add 2 XBL games to it as well.
PS3: Blu-Ray/DVD drive is crap. Both mine and my sons 60GB original PS3 drives are failing. Will have to replace it.
PS2 - It's so fuking good it made the XBOX and the Gamecube look like utter shit even if they were solid gaming consoles.
PS4: UI isn't very upbeat, the monochromatic blue color sceme makes the console overall seem more boring. Compared to Xbox 360 UI that is.
X1: At 500 dollars, it's actually a terrible investment compared to the superior in every way PS4. 249 would have been a sweet spot considering it has half the power of PS4.
