Seriously one of the worst things of this gen as a consumer. I buy all my Live codes at a discount and entering in the numbers was a true pain.

Great news. Those codes are 25 characters long, and I often buy them.

Yeah that's pretty awesome. The interface stuff with the Kinect is pretty great all round, it's only in game that I have no interest in it (except for using it as a mic).

thats cool. but ms will sell x1 without kinect after all the fanboys have gobbled up the release bundles so what they should do is have a qr scanner on xbox app on your phone. sony should also do this with their playstation app.

Interesting. Hopefully they will implement the same thing for the 360 with Kinect. I hate scrolling through letters to enter those 25 digit codes.

Since Kinect announcement this is the first time it has half decent use. Only took 4 years.

I was thinking about this months ago... I was sure nextgen system would add a feature like this to their systems. I hope sony adds a system like this to the camera and and their phone app.

I don't have a kinect because I don't have the room for one. I did buy a used one at one point and didn't work all that well so I returned it.

And Like I said it's neat. But i'm truly not that lazy. Even if sony did it i'm still not that lazy

Good thing I have a ridiculously good memory and can look at those 16 digit codes for like 5 seconds and put them in instantly. This is just technology dumbing down the world again. Instead of practicing short term memory exercises with pre order codes, MS wants you to wave pieces of paper in front of your TV like an idiot.

Just buy them online and have the codes emailed to you, copy and paste into Xbox.com.

Animal? you actually enjoy entering those damn things in? On the Xbox they are a mile long and when you get a preorder bonus and Limited Edition content, entering multiple codes can add up to a lot of time. Win for MS.

No it's not. It's the ultimate form of laziness. It goes to show the society of today is becoming the society of wall-e everyone's to lazy to do anything themselves anymore.

I really don't give a flying **** if I have to enter a code or not. And like I said it's a neat feature i'm not denying that.

But it is lazy for people to be complaining about entering codes for free shit.

It's doing what smartphones have been doing for years, and you pay $100 more for it? Hooray?

That's seriously awesome, and fast. Just another one of the several small touches that the Kinect adds to the console experience.
