Grow a thick skin and move on. Why focus on the Titan when there's a whole slew of mid and upper-range GPUs? For 170lb (or less), there's the GTX 660 Ti, GTX 670, GTX 760, HD7950, HD7870, and HD7850 right now. By the time the PS4 releases, there could be higher-end cards (eg HD7970) in that price range.

If you wish to go console, just do it. DO you really need a sob story to go along with it?

Using Titan as a comparison is missleading at best as it`s no more fastest GPU.

Radeon 290x and GTX780Ti beat it, and cost arround 550$, twice as less. Who would buy a Titan now, when you could get better performance for less money. Titan was meant for the most enthusiastic PC gamers, not as a standard GPU that everybody should have.

Most PC Gamers will go with mid-range gpus which costs range 200-350 bucks

TC should stop speaking for the whole PC Gaming community. You hardly represent it.

Last time I checked, Titan wasn't the only card in the world. Find something that suits your needs, and stick with it, you have plenty of choices. Don't whine if someone has higher demands than you, and is willing and able to spend more money on hardware.

A direct current-gen console port (with console detail settings) would easily run on my 7970 at 1 Ghz with 5760 x1080 resolution vs current-gen console's sub-720p/1280x720p results.

5760 x1080p has 6.75X the pixel count over 1280x720p.
