That voice acting was horrible but maybe that dude has mental problems so that might explain why he talks that way?

You guys are discussing the quality of cutscenes. What does it matter if the gameplay (and the in game graphics) are good.
Also the zelda killer? really I can understand the fans, but to someone that was never really into zelda like myself (i will try this one though), this game has stuff that zelda doesn't have, like a lot more polygons and it's not like they don't put these polygons to good use. The game looks amazing.
Oh my... what did I just watch? Terrible performances all around. Not only is the acting bad, but the animations don't match up with the voice work at all.
Jesus the guy's delivery is so robotic and his voice simply doesn't match the look of the character. The other two aren't much better lol
And MY GOD do their eyes look completely dead to anyone else? Like just an unfocused, vacuous expression on everyone's faces. Hadn't noticed that until now. xD
Yikes at this day and age gotta get that to a decent whatever video game standard is. 7/10 prediction. Not really looking good there Horizon but hey SW cares if combat turns out to be good and there seems to be plenty of it, somewhat the theme of the game.
Game looks absolutely terrible. what does this game bring anything new to table. i dont know what is to hype about it. if it was multiplat it would be treated same as far cry primal.
Well that was quite...average. The game will probably still get a 9-10 here at GS, cause PS exclusive. But since i'm not a hater(yes we exist) i don't mind if it gets a 10 or even a 11, i just hope that it deserves it this time("cough" Uncharted 4 "cough") because i'm really looking forward to this game.
Those character animations are Claymation like.... the entire vibe I get is unease... I get they were going for a realistic feel, but they over reached... That looks truly terrible. I didn't have much hype for the game as it was... this certainly did not help. The whole thing looks plastic and forced. I'll probably be passing on this, and wont even pck it up unless I see it on sale for around $15-$20. Not that I care about graphics and all that (quite the opposite in fact), but this is just.. damn... Looks rough.
Yeah, the uncanny valley will be an ever increasing problem with more realistic looking games going forward. What makes it worse is that animation in games is more of an afterthought compared to the effort put into the assets themselves. These bigger companies will spare no expense to have the best models/textures/shaders possible, but start cutting corners when it comes to animation... unless they're Naughty Dog.
And yeah, wtf with the writing and VA lol. It seems western devs are trying to tap into JRPG territory.
Even though cows are hyping this to be GOTY and GOTG since the reveal, I have always maintained that it will be another crap developed by GG like all their past games. But the more I see this game now, I believe it will get Sony to close Garbage Games after all. So thank God for that.
Holy crap that was terrible. Is this an isolated rough spot or an actual indication of the cutscenes quality? This game is something I have been looking forward to, but that was rough. The Gears 4 video was even better, sheesh.
This has to raise concerns about others aspects of the game. I mean someone had to have looked at this and said, "Yeah. Yeah, that's good." Top notch quality control right there. SonyGAF are arguing that people are making a mountain out of a hill buuuuuuut...I dunno.
The weird twitchiness of the other female character towards the end is just plain hilarious.
Brom's voice actor really should have done a re-take on this scene. It needed a bit of revision. His tone is quite jarring and the delivery sounds unnatural. :(
On top of that, the animation during these scenes looks really stiff and off-putting. It's very much in the uncanny valley. I think the game itself really isn't for me, personally. Not because of this video but after seeing Easy Allies' hands-on impressions, the gameplay wasn't my cup of tea.
I hope those looking forward to it enjoy the game when it releases though.
Now maybe some people understand how difficult is to do what Naughty dog does for a decade now.
Voice acting on this video was terrible but what was even worse was the characters facial expressions and the overall direction. Emotionless to death let alone out of place.

Yeah , its damn impressive. Well they put alot of time and money the truth is BUT people should understand that is not an easy task that should be taken lightly. People taking those things as granted like " oh well , another cutscene whats so great about it " but when the time comes for a cutscene to be crappy ... they change that to "wtf is this , haha".
Im fan of cutscenes and great cinematics , whatever the game or genre. Its the best way to have a break or tell a great story or bring emotions in , connect to characters and may more things. But this specific one .. was one of the worse cutscenes ive seen in a while and its a shame because it comes from an AAA game.
