Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth - 8/10 GS, 93 MC!!!

I had to loop just do advance something small in the main quest. There are reasons why player ratings are much lower than critics.

@texasgoldrush: I can't say I put much stock in player reviews/ratings or even outlets reviews. They rated FFVII Remake highly and the game is mediocre at its best except for the visuals.

Holy hell, that demo was cutsceney but the "openess" of the level was a positive. However just when I thought the story couldn't get dumber, they proved me wrong.🥴

Loved the demo, think I’m gonna stick with graphics mode unless they can improve the performance mode visuals.

I may be wrong here, but I get the feeling the Tifa chest controversy is an interesting case of how expectations effect perception. A mistranslated quote from Square got folks thinking they had been robbed or something, and felt disappointment in a rack most would say is quite large. Now that some time has passed, they seem to have finally noticed she's stacked.

What controversy? Everyone is praising Square for the first time in ages. The only ones that you might see complaining about it being TOO big, are all on twatter, and they're mentally ill, so no need to pay attention to those creatures.

@hardwenzen: I'm talking about the old controversy about Remake, where people were complaining Tifa's tids were too small. The internet says they are bigger in Rebirth, but I don't think so. They were always huge.

They were big, but not as big as in the original game. Now they've increased them by like 20%.

But it is funny how the conversation about this game for the last few days is Tifa's boobas🤣Square got the marketing right for once.

Her boobs were never going to be as big as the original game. Those were cartoonishly huge and would look weird with the realistic art direction. I'm not convinced Rebirth augmented them either. Boobs are just more prominent in a swimsuit than a sports bra.

Was really not a fan of Tifa in FF7O. She looked so goofy in so many ways. And her Limit Break doesnt work in ATB combat. I used Barrett, and Vincent whenever I could.

There has been controversy from both sides. Before it was people complaining about her breast size being reduced. Now it's people complaining about her breast size being increased. Whatever they do, people are going to get mad either way.

92 metacritic score now. A couple of 80s pushed it down a bit.

80s is most likely the more accurate score and judging by the demo anything greater than feels silly.

Gamespot wasn't kidding, they totally botched the ending and the iconic moment. It is has been having a negative reaction so far.

Really, the writing and the plot is quite poor, and the voice acting isn't great. The only saving grace is that it expands on its characters.
