Do Sony fanboys tarnish the playstation brand?

I know you mods might lock this but I couldn't ignore it so I hope you guys let it breathe just a little bit. If you don't oh well I just wanted to get this out there because everything said in that article is the truth. This is something that has popped up before but more people are taking notice.

Let's be honest. Sony fanboys just seem to be getting worse.

Although more or less accepted here it has to be said that you guys act like a bunch of dunce cavemen across the web.

....and yes to any neutral third party I believe looking to have a neutral conversation and who may be new to gaming only to be constantly bombarded by cavemen who don't agree with their Caveman Playstation Love mentality well then yes it can tarnish the playstation brand for a newcomer.

So to the non-cows do you agree with this?

Luckily for me I decided a while ago that although I despise Sony fanboys with a passion I love my hobby 10 times more which is why yes I've owned a ps1 ps2 and ps3 and yes will eventually possibly pick up a ps4 despite my preference for the Xbox.

This is why this tarnishing perception I think will obviously have less effect on people who have played games for years than those who are new to the industry.

But in any event do you guys actually take a look at how you guys act? Quite funny yet sad at the same time.

Seeing how SONY listens to them and how they make the best gifs around, I would say they are a great asset to SONY.

Only as much as the other fanboys tarnish the other brands, in all honesty I think the Microsoft PR people do more damage then the fanboys... they have the most annoying spokesmen, they seem like such tools and complete tourists.

Couldn't agree more. I have no problem with them on system wars because this is the place to act like that but I have even come across them in my local game store trying to "convert" me to Sony when I already own all the damn Playstation systems aside from the Vita but I'm not some blind fanboy like he was.

The difference between SONY fanboys and Microsoft fanboys is that SONY fanboys defend the best product on the market and thus, their actions are logical and excusable.

Microsoft fellatio force defends the inferior choice, and so their actions are irrational and not much different than what a troll would do.

That's funny because I keep running into lemmings talking shit on PS4 and Killzone videos on YouTube. Mostly spreading damage control because they have no real ammo now.

I didn't hate Xbox until I found this forum a couple of years ago. I hate Xbox for other reasons in addition to the lemmings though.

I guess. I don't think cows and lems are a vastly different though. Since their consoles are pretty much the same thing they attract the same userbase, that angry teenager. Although lems tend to have some casual bro shooters which don't really stay on the web and trash talk all day on platform wars. Cows had to suffer for quite a while an inferiority complex with PS3 and now finally are blowing all that anger out. They seriously can't control themselves.

I'm very proud that a company such as Sony has enthusiastic fanboys such as myself supporting them. That's why I love being a cow, we just don't defend sony with words, we'll take that shyt to the next level. It's a shame that Microsoft have a bunch of supporters who go into hiding when bad PR comes around. You will never see us Cows turning our back on Sony.

Not really. Outside of this place, a lot of gamers have a preference, but they don't act like raving lunatics. And really, Lemmings, Sheep, and Hermits are just as bad as Cows. Just replace one piece of plastic for another.

There's so much pure truth in that article. I know diehard PC and Nintendo fans that don't give a damn what MS does or want a MS system. But they don't give a crap why someone else does, nor do they try to force them to justify their purchase. They don't attempt to skew every single article written about MS to be negative because they don't see the need to post them since they don't want the system. Sony fans do seem to me feel the need to bash anything MS related no matter what.

Have you never heard of an opinion? Just because you believe the PS4 is the best product, that doesn't make it true for everyone. I honestly do not see the PS4 as the superior product.

It lacks games that I enjoy, and multimedia features that its competitor has. I don't buy consoles for raw power, because I have that in my gaming PC.

Its all about perspective man, I looked at both of the consoles, did a lot of comparing, and made an educated choice based off of what my brain knows as being the best. And IMO X1 is a better choice, at least until Sony comes out swinging with big exclusives (<3 Naughty Dog)
