I want a new cpu, amd or intel i don't care. need a new mobo for said cpu, and 16gb of ddr5 ram. Possibly a new psu as well cuz mine is from 2011, and still works, but i kinda want something more recent. If i see some good deals, i'll grab something, but if not, hermit lords won't get a cent from me.

My gaming PC is very top-of-the-line, there's really nothing I need to upgrade from. As of right now, I'm waiting for Steam Winter sales to begin and anything EGS sales they may have, so gonna save my money on that.

Just so you know but games like Hogwarts and TLOU already start requiring 32GB of RAM. It's not necessary right now, but if you want to future proof.

Looking at the deals black Friday is so much better in US. We rarely get any deals worth it in UK.

I cancelled my order of the 64 Gigabyte RAM so I can order them again during black week.

16 gigs work well enough for most games :)

Too expensive, they're currently $530cad right now, and on sale from $650cad. I want a cpu on sale for no more than $350, and i do want to see a nice discount as well, no $80cad sale crap.

Now that's a hell of a deal! I would gladly pull the trigger of going into AM5, but I personally want to go back to Intel whenever Meteor Lake releases. Nothing wrong with Ryzen as my 5900X has been very good to me, but seeing Intel has been proving enough for me to go back with them. MicroCenter is said to expand more stores in 2024, but they also need to start expanding into Canada as well.

As for 32GB Ram, I have 32GB Ram and yes, it benefits having it cause after playing Returnal on PC, 32GB Ram really makes a huge difference IMO. 16GB Ram is starting to no longer be the bar minimum.

Those are not good deals and nothing you wouldn't find randomly on sale at any given time of the year. Lots of those games are old as all hell and have no business being on "sale" for $40 or so.

What about an older i7 model? They stand the test of time well, you just need to purchase your own cooler, which is standard I guess?
