There are differences, but the "winner" is defined by personal preference.

The X1 version looks sharper, but suffers from aliasing issues, while the aliasing is much less apparent in the PS4 version, but as a result, it's more blurry. No clear-cut winner here.

Don't even bother. He's clearly superior to all of us because of his clearly superior taste in game and constant bashing of everything he feels is made for "casuals". He's the true master race.

Last gen it was the other side that went ape over resolution and frame rate differences, as minimal as those were.

Now those minimal differences are on PS side. Anyways, both look good for a cross generational game.

This certainly doesn't look blurry to me. The df and IGN comparisons really lack.

Jack frags has the best coverage thus far of the game.

Sucks that I have to wait like nearly a year before I can play this. It looks really good. It also looks like we're in for another generation of comparing grass blades at 500X zoom counting pixels.

Also I'd the esram is being difficult then once they figure it out and get the drivers working best then it will close the gap even nmore

why would you wait a year., you crazy like that? About comparing at 10.000x zoom... this will happen until,,,, until there's only one system which probably won't happen any time soon

not to mention ps4 already has better and more steady fps with ambient occlussion and better ress, when they add ambient occlussion to xbone version which is one of the most taxing effects in terms of hardware it will drop the fps like crazy.

I have to wait a year because I won't be able to afford a PC capable of running it or a next gen console until I finish my masters and get a job, which is nearly a year away. I suppose if I win a PS4 through that playstation memories competition then I can play the game sooner.

@digitalfoundry the AO on Xbox One was one of the fixes that didn't make it into the review copy but will be in day1, same tech as PS4/PC

And these are MULTIPLAYER grabs, which are supposedly toned down from the singleplayer.

He focused on the MP feeds though - he didn't grab any SP feeds for proper comparison...

There was no XB1 MP for him to grab to compare to. But these videos CLEARLY look better than both the XB1 and PS4 feeds shown on IGN and DF.

JackFrags used Avermedia Live Gamer Portable to capture the feeds.

He used his OWN HDMI grabber! So the DICE stuff IGN used (Elgato?) and the thing DF used were garbage!

Looks like the PS4 version has been redeemed. And Avermedia is about to make a lot of cash. lol

Man, you guys should really let it go. Now IGN doesn't know what they are doing either. The more you protest the more desperate you look.

For real. First we can't trust Digital Foundry, then we can't trust IGN. Soon as cows find a comparison that fits their agenda more then we won't be able to trust this guy as well.

Yeah, pretty sure they all got their footage from a DICE event for the final version. That's how he could make a video with PC gameplay, but next-gen gameplay was embargoed until today

This thread is the exact reason why I don't play games for graphics.

And my memory did serve me right because what I am getting at is the overreaction from cows to lemming bait. A simple "lulz 9, lulz flop" ended in a clusterf*** of threads about how McShea was bias, metacritic was correct, etc.

Back on topic: I need some advice. I have a really shitty PC. It's basically a Quad core with a GTX260 and 4 gigs of memory. Am I going to getting decent FPS going any higher than low settings? I'm holding off purchasing the game until I get at least a decent 30-60 FPS on med settings. Anyone with the PC version help please?
