Are console users still waiting for proper "next gen" game?

Still waiting for a "next gen" game that looks good and runs on at least 1080p 30fps that doesn't have these pretty obvious compromises in draw distance and/or lod distance. Sure it would be much more understandable if these games ran at a consistent 60fps at 1080p. As for lighting/shadows, it looks okay, despite some people complaining about only having one dynamic light source at a time. But when comparing two games it should be taken into consideration, like all the other aspects.
As for geometry, only charters look great, there are still a lot of rough edges on things like rocks, vegetation, bags, car wheels, barrels etc.

I think wiiu has the best next gen games. The problem is gamers these days don't give anything a chance. Nintendo Land can be more fun than anything on xbox one or ps4.

I got Pikmin 3 already.

I played tons of games felt next gen. Mario 3D World and Kart 8, Infamous PS4, Killzone PS4, and definitely NBA2K14 is frigging amazing

I know you are trying to russle jimmies. But you can't simply do that if you don't know what you are talking about. PC's don't have gens since it can vary per rig.

There won't be any true next gen game until devs decide to abandon those ancient relics.

Batman AK might be the first genuine next gen experience.

To me Watch Dogs and Wolfenstein the New Order are next gen games.

If anything, are pc users waiting for that truly next gen game.
