Am I the only one enjoying Watch_Dogs so far?

Yeah it's cool, you park the car somewhere, turn offf engine and lights, and you lean back in your seat, seems to make it harder for the cops to spot you in some instances.

they really should do a PS4 version of Blacklist. I really couldn't get passed the graphics/fps on that one.

That or he got his via video card purchase like I just did. Mine should be here in a few days.

Either way, I don't really blame people for pirating the title, ubisoft hasn't been very forthcoming with the performance you could expect out of it.

And why is it best on the PS4? Why is the PS4 version more fun? Is it because its running at 900p?

There should be a detective kinda mode u know u go to a crime scene to try to find out what'd happend there and stuff , but i can't find it , has anyone been in this side-mission?

Might have something to do with running at high settings and not stuttering.

Of course it's not the best, but it's certainly more playable than what alot of people are experiencing.

I just came in to brag that the game runs great for me at high settings, medium textures, 1080p.

ugh god, the medium textures look so awful. They should have just been honest and called them low.

seriously i'm really happy with them. but i'm aiming for 60 fps and i know you think that's neither here nor there in this game mr rainbow.

Eh, the image still looks good as a whole for me. Yeah, up close its not good sometimes. But, with everything else on high or ultra its still impressive. My card only has 1.2gbs of VRAM so Im damn happy. And, no stutter!

I just can't play the game like that. High is decent for the most part, still not great. But the medium textures are just so blurry and undetailed.

the game plays just the same on 40-60 fps as a solid 60 would, I'd rather go for a higher visual fidelity. But the stutter is just ridiculous, hopefully a patch fixes it because as it stands I don't even want to play the game now.

yeah, a dip to 40's ok by me too. i was considering upping the detail a touch, and locking at 30 Hz however my pheasant physiology rejects it.

Not really but I enjoy the setting, at least it doesn't stutter. It's like if they took darksouls and mixed it with dragon age, it's not terrible but not great.

Since titles like Blacklist, Far Cry 3 and Assasins Creed 3 used superior assets and technology on the pc, coupled with the fact Ubisoft are a bunch of greedy cunts, it's a certainty.

I liked it, but I'm pissed the e3 2012 was a massive lie. Not even talking about graphics, I mean that mission wasn't even in the damn game. Instead,

having played a bit of it.. 10 hours in.. I can safely say my opinion of the game has changed. I think it sucks.. Terribleeeeeeeeeeeeeee boring repetitive game . After you play the digital trips once you never wanna play it again. Same for every other quest.. Basically its only the story that compels me to play and even that is hardly impressing me. reviewers were generous giving it a 8.. Its more like a 6.5

Let' see. I originally wanted a GTX 760. Then I thought about a GTX 780. But then, I plan to stay at 1080p for a long while. So..... I settled for a 4Gb GTX 770.

I'll save the high-end card for my next PC when I switch back to Intel.

Prefer it to GTA,, really enjoying this game, the hacking makes all the difference, it's very well done and you can have some real fun with it Because the NPC's actually react to what you do, gun play is solid, especially for headshots, Drivings not as good as GTA and the Map isn't as big But it's just a more immersive game than GTA and generally more fun in my opinion.

Anything that isn't retractable. As is, the online component is nothing more than a shallow gimmick that gets old way too fast. When I'm done with the campaign and most side missions I'll turn the online back on and play it some more.

Well, it won't be here for another couple of days.

I think it'll be plenty fast considering I'll be gaming either at 1080p or 1280x1024. I'm one of those who like the old screen ratios.

I still haven't played gta5, but the stealth aspect in watchdogs is really well implemented.

...seems strange not having a punch button.

i'm enjoying the game for now but I still don't see what that 8 months of polish was for, once I'm bored with hacking this game will get sold. Gta city was way bigger(no exaggeration), more populated and the cars handled so much better, shooting was better also. Basically it looks to me like Ubisoft new Watchdogs wouldn't be able to go toe to toe with GTA and decided to delay the game so it would sell. Has some cool concepts just didn't deliver on the hype.

on consoles it might be ok i can't even bring myself to explore it on pc yet it runs like crap therefore it is a turd until it is fixed then judging by the reaction of the likes of danny o'dwyer i imagine it will probably still be a turd

I've often heard it Described as "Playable".... I played it on the 360 and its just fine there..... Pretty and Smooth.

The only time it falters is if you trigger a Torture attack inthe middle some Bad Ass Crazy Combos, it hangs up for a second.... I find this entertaining because it gives me the impression that I'm just too awesome for the game to handle. :p

It runs ok on my modest rig with a 7950 and i5. Running at max settings. Event textures on ultra. I just locked it at 30fps for now. It's very stable and rarely drops below 30 (similar to what you see on the next-gen consoles actually) so while not ideal I wouldn't say it's a turd. A turd would be what BF4 was at launch. Completely unplayable. Watchdogs is very playable. PC just has very high standards.

I'm enjoying the game but I'm really disappointed in its graphical fidelity. It's also running like total shait on my AMD card.

I just started playing Watch Dogs today and I'm already enjoying it a lot.

I hacked someone for the first time only a few moments ago and succeded! I was hiding in a car while the other player frantically searched for me. At one point he comes straight at me and I think "ok, I'm busted", the dude drags me out of the car, jumps into the driver's seat and drives off to look for me elsewhere. I'm am ass for forgetting to record it (playing on PS4), it was hilarious. :)

No not that I just don't understand how they could hype this game so much and still not pack as much on a Blu-ray as Gta did last gen not too mention on better hardware. It makes me feel like the game was not delayed for polish but delayed because they did not want to compete directly against GTA at launch, not to mention Battlefield, COD, Batman all releasing around the same time, if watchdogs had dropped in November it would have flopped.

I'm nearing the end. And I've been enjoying it a lot more. The story is not as good as it could've been but it's been enjoyable.

Most likely not. Watch Dogs shows how cheap most people's opinions are. And yes, the game is great.

Im loving it so far. I love the way i have to think my way out of the missions.

Not every hacking ability will get you out of every situation.

For example, i cant use blackout during the day.

Not GTA level attention to detail, but a super fun game .

Also, whats up with the reflections not being accurate? It is extremely lazy and takes me out of the immersion.
