Woj just issued a correction, NO is sending the first-rounder to Philly. "Light protection" on it. That probably means top 3 protected[QUOTE="JML897"]
"New Orleans has traded Nerlens Noel to the 76ers, source tells Y! Sports."
Holy shit
Edit: They got Jrue Holiday and a 2014 1st rounder for him. I like that trade for New Orleans.

[QUOTE="white_sox"]So much for the Austin Rivers experiment...JML897Didn't he have literally one of the worst seasons of all time lol He had the worst PER in NBA history for a player that played a certain amount of minutes (I think it was 200 minutes)

Yeah, I read something similar not long ago.
Having him try to run the offense was a clear mistake. There were warning signs before he was drafted though.
Vasquez ran our offense. (badly) Rivers will be fine.[QUOTE="DaJuicyMan"]Burkes getting tradedPut_in_Kitna

Didn't they use him at PG at the beginning of the season?
Nah. Gordon missed the first few months so Rivers was forced to start at SG.Assuming they keep him...if mccollum turns out anything like curry, portland is goin beast mode

Of course, their GM is smart, he was the Rocket's assistant GM last year :DI think the 76ers are looking like early winners in the draft. They are setting themselves up to have two lottery picks in what is being called one of the best drafts in the last decade.
They also get a top 5 player in this draft (arguably the best) and someone they can let sit for the whole year while he rehabs.

[QUOTE="JML897"]"The Utah Jazz have needed a Point Guard ever since John Stockton retired" -Jalen Rose :|PSP107Deron Williams was not a better PG than John Stockton. Keyword is POINT GUARD. D-Will was arguably the best PG in the league with the Jazz, what the f*ck more do you want :| I never said he was better than Stockton
With the money he'll save due to no income taxes, he can afford to support 8 more!If the Rockets do land Dwight Howard, will they have enough cap space to accommodate his 8 children?

I actually wasn't applying you said he was better than Stockton. I know what qoutation marks implies

No way, it was definitely between D-Will and Chris Paul back then.

He was top 5. Top 3, maybe, I would not argue. Remember Nash was good back in those days as well. You had Parker also. Gilbert Arenas has some beast years as well.Â
