@raugutcon: Apparently I missed out on probably the only opportunity to get the box for the N64DD, sold at the end of July for just over $200 for just the box and some of the contents, no actual system. Really wish I'd bought this!!!

@raugutcon: I don't always check everything on ebay, haven't been setting up the notifications due to game collecting being too expensive. Sometimes I like to browse through the sold listings just to torture myself. This wasn't the worst, I'm still kicking myself over an Apple Bandai PiPPiN @World that sold in March with 2 copies of Super Marathon(one sealed) for under $300.
I got my NESRGB and N64RGB boards in the mail this week and I was able to install the NESRGB this weekend. Now the NES can output composite, S-video, and RGB using a SNES style multi-out. Great mod that brings out the best in the NES. Also got RGB cables for my PS1 which really make the colors pop. Next weekend I'm going to install the RGB board in my N64.
Finally got my hands on a copy of the original Contra for the NES. Just need to track down TMNT: The Arcade Game and Dragon Warrior 2 - 4 and I will have finally repurchased all the NES games I once owned as a kid before I had to sell them to buy an SNES.
@deaditelord: TMNT 2 should be fairly easy to find, they sold a ton of copies back in the day. Dragon Warrior 2-4 though, that shit was expensive 20 years ago, I can't imagine what they'd cost these days for just the cart only.
@suicidesn0wman: I hear ya. While Dragon Warrior 2 wasn't too bad at $20 (Edit: I just bought it), Dragon Warrior 3 runs around $50, and Dragon Warrior 4 is around $70. TMNT: The Arcade Game seems to be running about $15 so I'll probably pull the trigger on it next paycheck.
@n64dd: Thrift store finds or ebay? Either way, I'm jealous. :(
Only find for the past month or so for me was a copy of Xenosaga Ep 3 for $30 and Arx Fatalis on Xbox for $15. Slowing down until next spring.
@Flubbbs: Suikoden 1 was one of my favorite JRPGs ever, was a bitch and a half to get Suikoden 2, ended up getting mine in pieces to keep the cost down, ended with a complete copy for about $75-85 and have an extra manual I planned on selling on ebay but never did. Still need V, Tactics and Genso Suikoden on the Saturn to finish up my collection.

Yeah Suikoden II is a pain to get for a reasonable price. It's come down a bit though!
Here's something on the way!.
@n64dd: Awesome, I've got a nice handful of Jaguar games, but only the carts, no overlays or box/manual for any of them. Got the best non-cd games tho(AVP, Wolf 3d, Doom, Rayman), just wish I had the whole package for them. VHTF
Side Note: Did you get the PM I sent last week?

No sir.
In such a short time, I now own ALL of the installments in the Extreme-G series.
Also below are DVD's that are retro game related.
@nintendoboy16: Nice, big fan of the series?
I actually only played a bit of XGIII, but of what I did, I liked it a lot and it was a racing series that looked fun to me after I watched Mark (from CGR, see DVD's below) review the first game. That and I like sci-fi/futuristic racers a lot (mainly F-Zero, Sonic Riders 1, and Star Wars Podracing)
@n64dd: That's kind of nice. They have a few on eBay from the same seller, but they've been opened, with the UPC sticker torn off, and the manuals and demo discs removed, and the person is still charging between $150 and $250. Now that's ridiculous.
I've still got my box for my PS1 in mint condition with all the internals, but it's open. I bet that sealed one goes up in value pretty damn quick.

Yeah mine has never been opened and is pristine. It's probably going off to VGA after christmas and going to be properly archived.

Ohh so you're one of THOSE people.

Have sealed copies and play copies CIB.
@nintendoboy16 Nice, so did you have to hunt those DVDs or was CGR still selling when you bought them? I thought about getting the bluray and never got around to it.
Oh and I got some more NES games since the last time I posted in here:
Back to the Future
Clash at Demonhead
Kung-fu
Little Nemo: The Dream Master
Rock n Ball
Rush'n Attack
The Lone Ranger

I managed to get them a bit before the store shut down. Normally, I don't get DVD's by web reviewers, but I wanted to make an exception here.
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster, Final Fantasy VII, and Metal Slug 3 on PS4 if those count. And Gradius V on PS3(PS2 classic, on sale for $2.50 until tomorrow).
Also Dragon Power and Vice Project Doom for NES.
I picked up the 3 remaining SNES games on my wishlist this week. All in amazing shape.
Dracula X, Megaman 7, and Demons Crest(CIB). I know have every single nes, snes megaman and most PS ones too. I am happy. I stole the demons crest cib for 80 bucks and got MM7 in great shape for 125. Very happy!

Nice pickups man, wish I could afford to pay for the big items like MM7, just a bit out of reach right now though.
