ps3 games WITHOUT online and trophies work... if it has either online or trophies it doesnt work... so pick up Madden 07 or NHL 08 or The Godfather 2 and PLAY!

Amen to that. I'm hoping that whatever's going on is at least a solvable problem. As long as we can be guaranteed that, I'll hang tight and not get all flustered over this admittedly frustrating issue.

Pretty sure it isn't a leap year. The leap year is the same year as the summer Olympics. it doesn't matter if the system doesn't know if tomorrow is the 29th or the 1st it's going to freak out.
I have tons of purchased games dlc and themes from the ps store and none of them except tmnt turtles in time but it thinks i only have the demo and i've lost all of my trophies.

ha dang this blows. i cant even go onto us.playstation.com. Ive always been an avid palystation fan over xbox but this is ridiculous and it kills me to say i might have to get an xbox if it isnt fixed soon. its crzy how it is happening all arround the wordl ha. follow them on twitter for any reent updates
So, should I just not turn my PS3 on till tomorrow? or what? Worked fine for me yesterday. did they put out a new Firmware adn tahts whats doing it? Also, ever notice stuff like this only seems to happen to PSN, not LIVE?

i tried reseting the firmware ,change the date ,format hard drive and just about everything you can think of and nothin worked ,i would have to say its definetly a hardware issue not a network issue so who the hell knows hop they can fix it
it is valve they got pissed so they got off their lazy *** and decided to hack the PSN and they all went to a pub after only to find out they missed the Olympic Closing Ceremonies lol
