It was a free download in PSN Store for a few days from April 17th. Now the only way to download the game is to get the beta vouched code from MGS Saga 2.0 DVD. If your desperate enough, you can buy them off from Ebay. But afterall this is a beta test, so you shouldn't be paying for it to play.
I'm disapointed we cant modd our weapons like you'll be able to in MGS4, i thing i'd really enjoy the game more if i could put a red-dot sight on my weapons, the steel sight is stupid in this game...

i hate the sights on mgo. I really wanna try out the acog scope and red dot. I like sniping though, but im using CQC more often.

i hate the sights on mgo. I really wanna try out the acog scope and red dot. I like sniping though, but im using CQC more often. you can customize your guns but the match has to have "drebin points" enabled. the red dot sight is waaaay to small to see anything and I find that you can see more with open sights, the acog is good tho, its just like a sniper scope
the only.. and i mean only probelm i have so far is the mic support, tested it out with a few friends, apparently only 2 people can talk at once, and if they are people that have there volume to loud or something like that the mic stays on and then the only way to tell them to shut there mic off is if you find a place and just hide to type out, what is happening and why they have to shut there mic off... they need to make it so everyone can talk, or make it so you can be in squads with open mics for all..
and alrair when you grab the guy with cqc, crouch down on to your knee, then for a second let go of r1 and move the left analog in the left or right direction then press r1 again and you should lay him on the ground and do that thingy.. takes a few trys but once you figure it out its easy
I wish, in all these online MPs (especially this one) people would play a game type I'm calling "respect". In this game type, if someone is sneaking up on someone or two people have already engaged in a fire, knife, ect. fight, then any third party watching would respect the heads up fight and not just shoot someone in the back.
Of course i love team tactics and such, but this just sound like it would be fun
the enhance lock-on leveling system, do you have to continue to kill people using the lock-on to level it up? Also, what is the running level called again (were you run faster?) and how do you level that up?

Such a shame that slitting throats is level 3 knife. What Can I do at Level 2 knife?avataraang1
knife peolpe while u run at level 2, knife is the easiest to level up, will take u about an hour to get to level three if you join the cqc or knife only rooms
is knife even really worth having?... Do you not have to get rid of another specialty while you get lvl 2 & 3? I just don't see a knife worth sacrificing two slots
I just got my preorder DVD with the MGO beta key inside. When I try to input the key, it says, invalid. What should I do? Do I just have to email them at mgobetasupport@konami.com? Because I have and haven't gotten an answer yet.

After you grab someone and you have them in a choke hold. How do you bring them to the ground to choke them. Also, how do you throw them after you have them in the choke hold.
I don't know about throwing them, but if you want to bring them to the ground you first crouch with them by pressing X. Once you're in a crouching position with them, press a directional button + R1 at the same time to bring them to the ground (this will require you to release R1 for a split second).

they are called cqc only and knife only or whatever, juust scroll and look for it, or create one!

honestly kinfe level three is just for fun, its really satisfying slicing a guys throat in front of a group of spectators, but in the end the animation is really slow and leaves you wide open to the imminent headshot
How long does it take to update to 1.01? I tried 2 days in a row and left it at the download screen for 30 min each time but it stayed at 0%Shawtymann
try to search why in the Konami page, i think they closed the download patchs for some reason, and i think the will open it again to download soon or something, i'm not sure tho
Wohoo logged on this moring and played some, we now have a new map in the middle east and a new mode!! its called sneaking (the one where one dude plays as snake) its freaking awsome!!!
Edit:btw snake looks rly awsome'! and the otocam works 100 times better then I thought it would (its actually rly hard to spot him when playing as a soldier). The only problem is that the enemy teams normaly are smart enough to stick together, makeing it kinda har to sneak up on ppl.
