I typed this a while ago...This is in response to people who think Sony is stealing Nintendo's "idea":
That type of technology is not new. Just because Nintendo is "using it" for their controllers doesn't mean that it is THEIR technology. Using actual 'kinetic control' is something that was developed long ago. Sony just decided to take advantage of it now...quit the whining and realize it was only a matter of time until it would happen. Just wait, either X360 will eventually feature this, or for sure the next Microsoft console will too. It's not Nintendo's creation, just the way they used it.
Not to mention, the way Sony is using this technology is completely different from the way Nintendo is using it. Sony's way is more of a "tilt" function for flight games, etc. Whereas Nintendo's controller can be used for fishing games where the controller is forcefully "cast" like a fishing rod....it's different.
What the dual shock again????!?!?!? Why couldn't we get a new controller. The dual shock has been cramping my hand for 10 years now. If we beg sony do you think they'll give use 2 controller designs to choose from? jrhawk42I agree. The DualShock was cramping my hand too whenever I played. I still miss the old Boomerang/Banana controller and still don't understand what was wrong with it.

that enough proof.
even though they just killed the wii by nicking the wiimote. you cant help but laugh at the fatal kick in the groin sony just gave ninty. im still getting one. a console with everything is the best console. bar none.
dog eat dog what can i say
ok before this gets outta hand with the motion sensor.....yea its most likly like 360s middle button
first-what do you guys (or girls) think the middle button on the PS3 does? I hope other ppl noticed besides me. In the demos. i didn't see anybody touch it and i was wondering what it's for
some ppl say it's like the 360's button in the middle

we cant get a new controller because people were crying bout the boomerang and were voicing that theywould want a dualshock instead. Now they are given what they want and they are crying about that as well
ridiculous
Why wouldn't you be ticked if you were a Nintendo fan? Sony just took the one compelling thing about the Wii away from Nintendo. I don't blame them, even if this is like RC Cola claiming that Coke stole the concept of carbonation from them. That photoshopped PS3 controller / remote would actually be pretty funny if every other word weren't misspelled.
Let's see, you had an innovative controller that set you apart. Whoops, not anymore. At least you still have a rockin' console name. Oh, wait.
What is 6-Degree movement? They say the controller moves "6 Degrees"?
I don't get it. Could someone explain?
Thanks.
Nintendo fanboys = madHellraiser3899microsoft fanboys = mad but i actually like the stuff inside the controller just the looks doens't look " next-gen"
