McCain and his supporters,

did you see the convention?

alexmurray

Only a couple, those things are a snooze fest even when it's the party I support.

the only time I payed attention to the DNCs was the aftermath of the obama speech, it seemed like we just won a war or something

You again! :x

I agree. Everyone has a right to say their opinion. But Obama doesn't believe so. According to him you can't even say anything about his wife, even though she is a big part of his campaign and regularly gives speeches with her opinions and views. But you can't argue those opinions Obama says! He can dish it out but not take it.

I was hoping you would say this. Michelle Obama is family, yes, but she is also VERY active in Obama's campaign, and gives speeches regularly. This means that she's just as open for attack as Obama is, while a 17 year old girl is not.

And Obama only said to keep family out of it pretaining to Palin's daughter because he said the exact same thing about his wife. It's politics, so stupid people will fall for this unfortunatly.

To say that no one can comment on what Michelle Obama says in interviews, speeches, etc, etc is absolutely ridiculous.

I am going to vote for Obama even though my vote won't count because I stay in South Carolina and our state always votes Republican but I think Mccain is going to win. When I first heard he was running I thought he would be the best choice for President because of his experience but then he was loosing polls then something happened with the other Republican runners(I don't know what I don't keep up with the news) and all of a sudden he is the number one choice. But it seems alot of people don't like him and think he is like Bush. Now if he is anything like Bush then yeah I hope he doesn't get elected.

Depends - if McCain and Obama have the same performances in the debates as they had in Saddleback then McCain will win the election by a few percentage points. If Obama is able to stop saying "uh" every 2 seconds and answers question concisely then he'll win by a healthy margin.

McCain is not the best choice. He would have been if he truly upheld his maverick status. He agrees with most of Bush's policies which are very unpopular and have failed the past 8 years. He has voted the same as Bush 90% of the time.

I liked McCain, but not the McCain of today. He punked out to appeal more to the Republican base. Obama gets my vote hands down.

It's no secret that Obama isn't the best debator......not to mention without a teleprompter he's a worse speaker than Bush is.

It is a habit for Obama to say "uh" though.

But seriously this shouldn't matter. If you can honestly review both candidate's policies and issues how can you say no to Obama? He is very concise and has shown great judgment thus far.

If McCain can actually turn the focus to Obama's policies and not his rhetoric, then he'd probably win. I doubt McCain can do that though.

If McCain even wants the slightest chance of winning at all, he better change to a more positive campaign like Obama.

I don't think people here are aware of what will happen if McCain is elected and dies in office. You know that's when most of you will start caring about who's VP, sadly.

I heard that Obama is bad with out a teleprompter in big debates so he'll probably lose and in addtion when people see how little experince and all the Experince McCain has McCain has like 21 years in the senate, Obama has 3 McCain has been in office 7 times as long as Obama and let's not forget McCain has fought in a war, obviously has Military experince, and been a POW. But i'm going to say this as racist as this my sound. If the black voters turn out and vote for Obama he'll have the thing in the bag regradless of what he does.

McCain, the economy is already doing much better than a few months ago, the dollar is getting stronger, and its pretty clear that we are or are going to be out of this recession very soon. Plus you don't vote democrat if you want the economy to be stronger, less government control more power to businesses, thats what makes our economy stronger. and universal healthcare, where's that going to come from? o yeah, pretty much everyone except those in poverty, McCain needs to win. also the war on terror is going extremely well now, Iraq actually took over control of the Anbar province recently, which was the most dangerous province for a U.S. soldier to be in, so its likely that no matter who becomes president, we will have a troop withdrawl during their period of office. so, hey maybe Obama can be McCains official orrator, considering that's all he's good at.

She has zero experience?

It's agruable that she's more experienced than Obama, the actual PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE!!!

I'm sorry, but it's sad that a V.P. is being compared with a Presidential candidate, who has 100% chance of being President if elected.

black vote while still important doesn't take away from the fact that women in this country are 52% of the entire vote. Start talking down to women and they will make you pay. Heck he already snubbed Hillary Clinton who is a heck of a lot more expierenced than he is.

This election has really come down to being nothing more then an episode of political "Big Brother"

Obama has blown a 14 point lead to McCain over the course of two months, and love her or hate her Sarah Palin has all of us talking about Miss Alaska's, Teen Pregnancies, and Troopergate that less then a week after Obama's historic speech in Denver no one is talking about it.

The front page of celeb mags like US and People are splashed with pictures of Palin wearing a tight leather mini, or her holding a machine gun.

McCain's VP is dominating the "gossip" and "celeb" mags, while leaving Obama to have to battle it out on policy and experience with McCain.

I think 18 months of Obama-Mania was just too much for folks,

Unless there is a major gaf, I think McCain will pull it off as he has the momentum.
