Note: This isn't about who you want to win, or which one is better for the United States, or whose daughter is pregnant, or whose daddy was a muslim, or who has the hotter vice president or who looks better with his shirt off (although all of those questions are all interesting in their own right). This is about who you think will win the presidential election this November.

3... 2... 1... Go.

Oh, I said McCain, by the way.

McCain but I think it will be extremely close. Party supporters will go with their runner but I think the confused undecided will eventually go with the man with a huge experience advantage.

Hard to say....but Republicans and conservatives will stick with their party. Independents will be split...as to percentage I don't know. Now the Democrats are a split party. This may cost Obama the election. I am a Democrat but I don't believe in his policies and will not be voting for him. I know of other Democrats doing the same thing....and if enough do this...it'll be McCain.

She runs a state....which is more experience than Obama has. He has been campaigning most of his time in his current position. She is also only up for VP...not president. I think she can handle the odd press conference....state dinners and speaking engagements which is basically all they do. I find it offensive, by the way, that you would use the issue of Down's Syndrome as a negative here dude.:|

Dude you are seriously making yourself look like an idiot with your totally asinine statements? It's vary clear you made this thread just so you can attack reps in this thread. You ask we think will win and when we say McCain you go nuts saying how crazy that is.

It will be incredibly close, possibly even as close as the 2000 election. In the end I think Obama will edge out just enough votes to pull out the win.

Well the bulk of Obama's supporters who are high school and college students, many of them won't show up on election day, we constantly see that in the polls many of these students support a canidate then don't show up to vote, and That's where obama is getting most of his votes from. So I say McCain will win, it will be a tight race but I think he'll barely pull through.

It's hard to say, I think it's going to be very close. Unfortunately I think it will be decided based on which campaign can spin comments by the other campaign to their advantage better (i.e. Obama's "inflate your tires" or Palin's "what is it exactly that the VP does everyday") rather than on the actual issues.

This is very true. It's very sad how voters can think sometimes. Saying Obama is the antichrist and Palin is stupid just because of her daughter's mistake is silly and unnecessary in politics.

I say stay out of people's lives and start looking into what these candidates will actually do for the country.

Obama will probably win, unfortunately. But atleast we could all see "change" fall flat on it's face after he gets elected, that should be rather amusing.

John McCain is going to win, and by a wider margin than most seem to think. Obama is a wonderful speaker, but he's just as bad as McCain when put on the spot. He's going to look bad in the debates. I thought Clinton, Biden, and Edwards made him look bad enough in the primary debates. McCain is from an entirely different party and won't pull punches.

The problem is that you might actually see change, but not for the better.

Obama is a wonderful speaker, but he's just as bad as McCain when put on the spot.famicommander

Actually, McCain is quite good when unscripted. Obama is a gaffe factory without the teleprompter. To her credit, Palin spoke entirely without a teleprompter. I actually find Obama (or Obamuhhh as some call him) to be quite a boring speaker, full of empty rhetoric. I found Hillary and Bill Clinton's speeches to be much more magnetising - probably among the best political speeches in recent history.

There will be no landslide. Up until the DNC (after which Obama received a small predictable spike), they were neck and neck in the polls.
