OT, have you attended church this week? Do you attend church more regularly in Christmas than at other times of the year? How does that make you feel?

I haven't attended church in years and don't intend to for the foreseeable future. And that is that.

I don't attend church anymore. Grew out of it, along with the religion it followed.

Oh I remember when I would also tell the tc that I hated his thread for one reason or another. One reason being redundancy

I only go to church for a funeral. I don't go to church for a wedding and baptism, let alone in general.

No I don't though I do believe in God just don't like attending Church at all. And stay classy people no wonder certain users are turning people off from this forum

I'm not religious and never have been, but I go with my wife on occasion. We'll be going for Christmas tomorrow.

I decided to go to my ex-wife's church once. When they started passing around the money basket whilst playing the organ music, I got up and walked out.

A few weeks later, we tried a new church. They were very progressive, very accepting of homosexuals, etc. Also, if you wanted to make a donation, you could privately do it after the service was over. My ex-wife hated this church.

Figures.

I attend church every Sunday and have done so for years. While I was in Seminary I attended church every single day.

You're a silly man. I don't understand why this is so hard for you to understand, but the topic was clearly meant for a discussion so it would have been silly for him to post it in a blog. The original poster didn't add so much of his opinion, but simply put up an interesting statistic and asked a question which he had hoped would get answered and possibly lead to discussion about the topic which is exactly why it's a thread instead of a blog post. Maybe I can supply you with a couple of links so you can understand why this is a thread instead of a blog...

Nope. Never been in my life. I always found it humorous though, the people that claim to be Christians but only go to church during the holidays or on Christmas Eve.

Anyone surprised at the 4 out 10 that's it's higher than you thought for within a week or two? I would've expected 4/10 attending in the past two or three months but not in the last week. Anyway I stopped going to church, a Lutheran one, years ago.
