Obviously bad and sympathy to the victims but I was like around 10 I was mostly pissed the family was hogging TV watching what was happening and I missed Dragon Ball Z on Cartoon Network. It's not something I lose sleep for.shadowkiller11

Imagine yourself in that situation (plane, ground zero, whatever, or even a Muslim) and then say, "lol I don't care."

It was a fvcked up situation that led to even more fvck ups thanks to the incompetence of our leaders, increased hate crimes, lost lives, injuries that will last a lifetime, and two wars that weren't properly handled.

I'm not saying we should all cry about 9/11 everyday but to say that you don't care is ridiculous. We should still move on but never forget.

I cared enough to follow the news closely for a few days. I didn't have any friends or family in NYC so it didn't affect me.

I was a kid when it happened , i'm not from America but i was really scared. Who would mess with the US? I felt like nobody was safe anymore.

Of course I cared. I think it's only human to feel empathy toward other humans who suffer.chrisrooR

As a Brit, back then yeah I did care about it, and people seem to assume that it was just Americans that died but there were a lot of foreigners working there because of some of the different companies based in WTC.

Now though, honestly with every passing year and the jingoism coming from the United States but mainly from Americans on forums like this I tend not to care anymore.

No. An I dont care about what happened before or after that.

I am sure there were many interesting points to study about but the whole I have muslims, and the drama aspect kicked in so that was the end of it for me.

I cared. I was a senior in high school at the time and was shocked...but what happened afterwards with the invasion of Iraq, pissed me off. Bush was a horrible president.
