Ehhh, i'm more suited for the villain of OT HeHe. You make for the real hero (surviving the war in your country ) and as a good user for many years around :)

Will probably make a general community spotlight thread next week to get us thinking about the community. A thread where we just share some of the best times we had here over the last year and also look at some members who have had a special place in our memories. To get us back to a place where we reflect and remember to make the voting process a success.

This is still a thing on OT?

Funny thing is, I was just thinking about this on the car ride home with my parents. Glad this happening :)

But there's so few of us left we couldn't sink a paper boat.

Maybe we should not all be disheartened buzz-kills and try to make something out of this. Maybe this is an opportunity to relaunch OT in a different capacity and somehow redefine it so that it would adapt to the changes that happened to it in recent years. Because I hate to break it to you guys, but if we allow forums to die out then we'll all be stuck with twitter and facebook.

Let's try to think outside the framework of OT as we knew it. For instance, the relatively smaller number of active posters could mean that OT can now be a clique of some sort.

Can we throw rocks at the cool kids?

Annual awards to users. Who was nicest or funniest user, which user got best avi and sig, best topic in 2014 ETC.

Doubt it, things aren't looking too good around here, but if an OTCars actually successfully takes place, then yippee. Might not be as fun though as it was in the pre-October 2013 days. :(

Hopefully the community thread next week gets people in the mood to participate when OTcars starts up

Sounds like a great idea. There's a few people in OT who sound like they could give an interesting interview and people I'd like to know more about (a Q&A might just be the way to do it ^_^)

I don't see why we can't do it. But lets keep in mind that the community is a lot smaller now. So fewer awards would be better.

OTcars is a great tradition. It's saddening to see so much uncertainty surrounding this.
