Why do you keep blaming me for that? I never voted for a Danish user to begin with.

@deeliman: I realise that but I wasn't the one who started the trend of thinking you were Danish. I only mentioned that the Dutch category was missing and I was nominating you for it. Not my fault if people don't know Denmark from Netherlands =P

Because you put it under the best Danish user category, people thought I was Danish :P

This is what I've been trying to explain to you for weeks =P

I put it under German saying "don't know any German users but I vote for deeliman for best Dutch user", then when I learned Majormayor was German I voted for him but said I still wanted to nominate you for best Dutch. Nowhere did I mention any Danish whatsoever, so stop blaming me XD

Somethings wrong with final nominations, why there is no mention of Sheikshspeare ( Found him only on Anime lover, why isn't best user name in the nominations ? ), Johnd is not mentioned at all ( Amongst Nicest User's also ), Da Villain and Sheikhspeare names ( As best new comers ) amonst other things ?

Is it me or final nominations completely changed from basic nominations lol.

That's what it came down to after counting the votes for each nominee in the previous phase. Injustice may have taken place but that's what the people said. :P

The missing noms had winners being ahead of the group by a large margin, so they auto won and will be announced in the awards thread.

missing noms from catagories were cut since the ones left were leading by a large marin. For example the nicest user catagory had two people with 8/9 votes each, while the other nominees had one a piece so only those two made it to this round.

Well, it's true. You're a great guy and I really do think you should post more. Too bad you had to go up against indz...the man is everywhere and everybody loves him...it's not even a fair fight =P

Also, I heard that the OTcar statue is made of cardboard, so it's ok XD

Everyone is nicest around here on OT which makes this place special :)

Still, I agree with Korvus, John definately underappreciated and will always remain in our hearts as awesome/ nicest guy. He needs to post more and more on OT ( That is if he got time to post on OT besides studies as studies comes first ).

This situation here is representative of real life as well. Among my friends and people I am close with, I am pretty popular but not so much to the rest as I tend to keep a low profile and mind my own business. :P

@johnd13: That's a great trait to have. Awesome and likeable but not a widely known fact. Makes your friends feel all special that they have you but don't have to share you with everyone ;-)

@korvus: That's a nice way of putting it. You're quite the silver-tongued aren't you? ;)

@johnd13: I like seeing the good in people. From that point on, complimenting someone by using the truth is not that hard.

Alas not all people think as you do, some come off as very rude and mean to others. But nothing to get very proud also of being a ass, they get same from others :)

Especially online. When I started using the internet it was a nightmare...if I was trying to be nice towards a stranger he/she automatically assumed I was mocking them, if I made a joke they'd think I was serious and trying to offend them...that's why I got into the habit of putting smileys at the end of every sentence, so there would be less misunderstandings...trying to drop the habit here though, most people in OT know me well enough to understand my intentions.
