Great game by italy though!! Pirlo was sensational as usual with marchisio, candreva and balotelli coming up with excellent performances. Hopefully italy and costa rica go through.

England played well but after the second italy goal their composure just went out the window. Way too many crosses and simple passes going nowhere.

Sterling was great, but he was tired by the end.

Rooney should of scored and didn't do much apart from the pass for the goal, but that was also started by Sterling.

Welbeck won the ball for us a lot in Italy's half.

Our defence was pretty much just walk up an have a chance to score at times, which means we need to be taking our chances.

Against Uruguay, with Oxlade-Chamberlain back, I just think we should go for it with the youngsters.

If we play like we did in the first half of this game all game I think we will win. Italy didn't create much but they took the chances they had.

With Uruguay losing aswell though, the England/Uruguay match should be great.

Both have to win.

Did you notice all our poor crosses came from the right hand side, we needed to switch up and focus some attacks down the left. Baines is one of the best crosses of the ball we needed him in crossing positions, we should have brought James Milner on to play on the left hand side to allow Baines to get forward more.

So basically where I live the matches are aired at around 3/4am. Is there a legal network or legal paid streaming service where I can watch the matches? It doesn't matter if it's region locked, I have a VPN, I use https://ironsocket.com. I've missed pretty much every match since it started. I don't need to watch live, reruns are fine. Anyone?

@korvus Yeah, I'll be watching that game too, will probably be the most exciting game of the day. It can really go either way, both teams are great.

@deeliman: As long as it's not Portugal vs Netherlands I'll obviously be rooting for Portugal, but haven't made up my mind if I'd back Portugal or the Netherlands if they came face to face.
