In my case, I recall it being that Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt cartridge. And this coming from someone who was born in the 90s. What about you?

I think it was Mario Bros on an arcade at the laundry mat. There's also a couple of really obscure arcade games by Nintendo that most have never heard of. I forget what they are now.
Super Mario World + All Stars which came with my SNES. That was the first game I owned.
As for the first game I played: Circus Charlie for NES - but that was my cousin's.
Super Mario 64. I never could beat it though. The messed up part was that I would make it to the final Bowser fight and only have to toss him ONE MORE TIME. I never could beat it though. I just gave up. I saw the ending with my brother beating it later on.
Probably Duck Hunt, Super Mario Bros or this soccer game I don't remember the name on NES.
Good times thinking back now :)
I believe the first Nintendo game I ever played was Wii Sports at a friend's house. The first Nintendo console I ever owned is my New 3DS XL which I bought in 2017, first game played on that was Super Smash Bros.
My family moved to a new town when I was in first grade and my first friend there had a NES. We played a lot Duck Hunt and TMNT so those were probably my first.
That Christmas my parents got me a SNES with Super Mario World. I've been hooked ever since.
Christmas 1987
NES with Power Pad
Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt/World Class Track Meet
Karate Champ
Spy Hunter
Had to be a three in one NES cartridge with super mario, duck hunt, and a track running game; however, i didn't have a Nintendo Gun, nor the accessory to play the track running game, so I just ran with mario till i got a gameboy. :P
Super Mario Bros. 3
One hell of a game to start with. Was completely hooked after that shit.
I was born in 1988 and started gaming when I was 2, btw. I don't think I understood much that early, but I could hold the controller and push the buttons.
Walking out of JCPenney in the fall of '86 with the deluxe set and then playing Gyromite and Duck Hunt....... Good times.
First one I remember is playing Mario Bros 3 and Castlevania at my grandma's house every time I went to visit. First one that really got me into gaming as a whole was Ocarina of Time.
I had this little hand held Nintendo toy. It was offical merchandise, I think, but it had two buttons and it was just a background with this weird black and white display with stick-men that moved... I can't remember it well. First cartridge though was Duckhunt and Mario 1
