Which generation had the worst pokemon. (poll)

The reason why im posting this is after me thinking about it i thought that the new pokemon had the worst pokemon. i want to see if other people think so too. although they had some good ones they also had some other ones that i just didnt like. i was also upset about all the ledgendary pokemon they added. what do you think?

2nd and 3rd and 4th Pokemons all suck. They are too cartoony and are pathetic. The company tries to make Pokemon more cartoony and cuter to attract kids and girls. sighs* If you would notice: 1st genration pokemon has more complicated outlines (more thinner) more detailed; 2 3&4 Pokemon has rounded, think, bold outlines and deep colours and simply detailed.

The Pokemon game in the future will need to get rid of some Pokemons or we'll Gotta Catch'em All-in 2020, we're gonna catch 1000+ Pokemons and about 100 legendary pokemons, just ridiculous!

3rd I hate that version(even the entire game itself)

I havent played D/P yet, so I'd have to say the third generation, even though I like the pokemon in it, I just like the 1st and 2nd gen better.

Yup, although I loved the gameplay in Diamond & Pearl, I hated most of the Pokemon. I was determined to make up my team of all 4th gen guys though.. Torterra, Luxray (or the final evolution? sorry, only know Japanese names), Gastrodon, Mismagius, Toxicroak and Garchomp.

Bidoof's okayish, but it's feet are definitely too small. How does it even stand on those? o_o
And Bibarel just completely freaks me out.

I think Generation 1 had the best, and generation 4 had the worst. The pokemon just got worse as time went on in my opinion.

i liked the first 2 generations, 3rd had a few decent ones but wasnt that good and the 4th are just plain bad.....people should make a game with a new story with all the pokemon in it...not just the new ones cuz all the new ones keep getting worse and worse so if they did that people who would prefer 1 generation can stick with there original 150 party and people who like the new ones can go with that....or just make crystal/silver/gold remakes hahadeadlycolour

i mean making evolutions for electabuzz and magmar and all those other stupid evoultions....like really cmon....its just stupid....i think the pokemon creaters are running out of ideas

If you mean by power and all of that stuff... I couldn't say. Each generation had some over-powered Pokemon and some pretty crappy ones.

I liked all of them but the one I liked least would have to be the 2nd gen.

I picked gen 3. The only games I didn't own were gen 3, bleh. I loved 1 and 2, they were GREAT but then the pokemon just started getting kiddier and kiddier. My party is still mainly full of gen 1 pokemon. I would say that gen 4 had a saving grace though, and that is shellos. For some ungodly reason I love that little slug like nothing else, and I have no idea why. I kinda want to throw one at someones face so it will latch on and they will run around screaming and flailing their arms...hehe that's funny to me.PenguinGod19

Unlike most people I actually like the 4th generation (though nothing beats the first one)

Worst was easily 3rd.

The worst by far was Gen 3. The best was Gen 2. I'm not going to go into detail, but I really loved all of the pokemon in Silver and Gold.

I guess it would be generation 4....there was a ton of ugly pokemon that just didn't really appeal to me in this one. I like Dialga and Palkia, but they seriously just seemed more fitting for something like, I dunno, yugioh.

Ruby/Saphire/Emerald did IMO. So yeah gen 3. The only pokemon I like from gen 3 is sableye, he looks like a little demon. Not just the pokemon though, the entire game feels rushed, R/S/E are totally pokemon's FF9.in2DarKneSs

...What? Final Fantasy 9 was by far the best one, imo. Anyway, Gen 4 really felt dull. I liked 3, but not as much as 2, and 1 is a little lower than 2.

suprise! everyone remembers playing the first ones as children and fogets all the horrible pokes it had. remeber, jinx, mr. mime, raticate, gloom, and tangela ect?

Didn't really hate any generations pokemon in particular, although if I had to choose I would probably say the third.

Generation 4. After Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire, the people over at Nintendo and GameFreak seemed to lose their talent as Pokemon pioneers.

Hopefully they can rekindle the spark that made Pokemon the great franchise it is today, though. I'm lookin' forward to their future games.:)
