Poll The best N64 3D remakes on the 3DS? (17 votes)

Star Fox 64 3D 18%
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D 76%
Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D 6%

So, which of these ended up the best?

Star Fox 64 3D

Ocarina of Time 3D

Majora's Mask 3D

My pick for top I think goes to OoT, with Star Fox following. Both play as you remember it and have aged well for newer players. True, some lament the lack of online in the latter, but it wasn't that great of a multiplayer mode to begin with so... eh.

The worst I think is Majora's Mask 3D. The game suffered from "George Lucas Revisionism" and the boss fights above are evidence of it. So few changes (like the save system) were for the better, the majority ended up being for the worst.

I’m just gonna go with Ocarina of Time since it’s the only one I’ve played. I do own Majora’s Mask 3D though.

1-ocarina

2-majora

3-starfox

ocarina had great 3d. so did majora but had a lot more ghosting with majora because its a darker game.

starfox 3d was a bit meh. mostly because its a faster pace game and harder to notice your surroundings.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is a legit better game on 3DS, everything was improved to make the game more enjoyable and less clunky. Most the improvements are features fans wanted all along.

Majora's Mask made some odd choices that makes the 64 version superior. I think the team got arrogant and instead of making the right choices, made choices for the sake of it. Resulting in a passable experience.

And I don't care for Star Fox to give that one a mention. No offence to its fandom.

I had more fun with Star Fox 64 3D than OoT 3D, but then again I also enjoyed Star Fox 64 more than OoT 64. It basically just boils down to personal taste for me, though that's not to say that I didn't enjoy both iterations of OoT.

OOT 3D, since it's the definitive way to play the game. Majora's Mask 3D was fine, but it had a bunch of changes that I didn't really like. Never played Star Fox, so I don't have an opinion on that one.

I'm just trying to find old N64 games that are available for 3DS I'm constantly finding ones I didn't know were available https://100001.onl/. I thought someone on here might have a list or link to all of them. Thanks

Can't say I've played more than 5 minutes of either Zelda, eventhough the remakes were nice I didn't see myself spending hours.

Star Fox is really cool though, really nice game to play on the go.
