With cartridges being back, will games continue to be plug n play like the 3DS and most Wii U games or will it be plug n install? If plug and play, how would companies like EA hold up?

I say will be plug n play. Hopefully EA and them will install while you play.

Cartridge has potentially the same read-speeds are SSD drives, so it could be plug n play.

It will probably be just like their other consoles. Nintendo doesn't install the full game like other consoles. Unless you get it digitally, you still need the disc for WiiU to play. It will be the same for the cartridges, and there will be plenty of accessories to buy to carry around all of your games.

Plug and Play. EA has to fit their data on the cart like everyone else.
