Red Steel 2 will be online

Red Steel 2 will be in the next months EU Nintendo Mag. The game is said to be "Bigger. Better. Bolder. Bloodier. First screens and hands-on impressions. Only in next month's Official Nintendo Magazine." Then they add, "And oh - it's online."

My friend in RS1 could kill everyone with a pictol which really annoyed me beause those pistols were too powerful. I hope they do better the RS1, and the online is actually good.foola12

Learn how to read a sentence before you criticize. I said, "... another crap game for the Wii... online." This implies that Red Steel SUCKED, and they are making another one for the Wii (which will probably also suck) with online capabilities. Hence the saying, "... another crap game for the Wii... online."

wow, what the heck? why are you so negative about the game. Red Steel 1 was a good attempt for a good wii game, it had problems because it was rushed. If Ubisoft fixes the issues, Red Steel 2 will probably be descent, especially with online. Your comment is whoop di dee do total crap.

I'm always an optimistic gamer and I know that, and with that I will say that I have pretty high expectations for this game. The first one was riddled with problems but I still found plenty of enjoyment in it. Now the sequel has nothing but potential to take the great concept and perfect it. I have faith they will make this game the game the first was supposed to be.

Good graphics (throughout the entire game), Tight controls. More variety in gun and swordplay, A co-op mode possibly?? And of course the online play.

So far I'm excited :D Even if you're not!

I agree, the whole game felt like it was a beta build rushed for the Wii launch.

I heard that Ubi is going to make RS2 more like other FPS games, which makes me happy becuase Red Steel had a good concept.

I just hope that they get some decent voice acting instead of the FOBs they had in the first one.

The cutscenes in red steel were awful, i think the cutscenes were made randomly by putting together a bunch of concept art. Hopefully RS2 will be ten times better.

Like it or not, half the people who played Red Steel loved it and the other half hated it. The game was actually pretty fun for me, but people who were expecting too much out of it were very dissapointed. The opinions on this game are literally split right down the middle. Anyway, those "Cutscenes" that you are talking about are not really cutscenes, it's a way to tell the story in that style since it was a launch game they obviously did not have time to make full CG cutscenes.

Bloodier? You mean more blood than when I shot the hanging meat in the freezer? So more than an almost elusive red "Blur" when I stroke teh swordz, it's actually going to have some kind of blood?

Amazing, and from my experiences with Red Steel I thought Japanese people bleed air.

First game i bought. SOld that crap the 3rd day for Madden. Poor controls, blah graphics, lackluster story scenes. The one thing they could of had going for them they blew with the retarded sword fighting.

and the red dot could stand for the "red" in red steel. Cant wait, i really want to see how it works, how surprised would it be if the sword fighting i more fast paced and more like the jedi fighting in star wars episode 3. That would wet my pants

why did u bother to open this forum just to say that? I care for a Red Steel 2, i loved Red Steel 1 and the flaws annoyed me, if Ubisoft fixes those flaws then Red Steel 2 will be one great game, especially online.
