So I gave up video games years ago when I started college, but my boyfriend has a Nintendo system and I never had one, so I kinda want to give it a try. The thing is I don't have much time to try them all. Can you guys recommend the best one out of these titles? I was thinking the zelda ones in the upper right hand corner. They have a nice golden plastic cover and I always liked the Zelda art style. Which of the two is better? The Adventure of Link or The Legend of Zelda. Thanks in Advanced!

Super Mario 3 has aged the best I would say. I don't know what type of games you are into, but I would do something like like this:

1. Super Mario 3

2. The Legend of Zelda

3. Metroid

4. Super Mario Bros.

5. Duck Hunt

6. Double Dragon

7. Zelda II

8. Super Mario 2

9. Dr. Mario

10. Millon's Secret Castle

That's just a play order, not a Best - Worst etc. list.

There are a lot of good games in there, but start with Mario 3 or Zelda.

@KBFloYd: I don't think so. Just the system itself and two controllers. Thinking of that, what are two good multi player?

@OldProf: The Mario's are fun 2 player, but you have to take turns. Double Dragon's are 2 player. Gauntlet also is two player. Dr. Mario is cool multiplayer too.

The Zelda's, Metroid, and Galaga are good to experience single player. Duck Hunt is a great with the gun. The Mario's are a must though. Id put them on high priority.

Mario 3 seems to be a must play according to everyone. I would ask my bf but I think he just has the system and games as decoration for his living room entertainment system. Thanks all! :)
