Guitar Hero For DS Launch

RedOctane and the other developers confirmed a Guitar Hero for DS, but there hasn't been a date.matisrock

Can we start some kind of petition to get them to not do that? Because that's the opposite of good. Guitar Hero is lame.

First of all, Jam Sessions is not a music game. It is a tool for your DS not unlike the DS browser. Second, Just look at all the great music games on DS. Elite Beat Agents, Ouendan, Daigasso, Taiko Drum Master, and others. I'm sorry but your ignorance does not amuse me.

Guitar Hero for the DS was announced a while back.

It has a small device that attaches. It looks like a small keyboard. That is your fretboard. It is assumed that you will strum the touch screen, but not confirmed. No pictures of this device have yet been leaked.

Guitar Hero is a great game, and a great franchise. You hate it because you have never played it. It is extremely addictive, if you are a fan of the music in the game.

If the music holds up well on a DS cartridge, this could be a must buy.

Well, I stand corrected. Are we sure that is confirmed and real, lol? I don't like it, if it is, though the DS is facing the right direction. Needs to be a little more portable.

Well I, for one, am very interested on this. A cool, well-implemented peripheral would be cool, but personally I would prefer a Rock version of Daigasso! Band Brothers. For those unfamiliar with it, it's a Japanese DS music game that has you playing different parts / instruments of a MIDI song by pressing any of all the DS's buttons. It's pretty cool, challenging, and addictive, and the concept would transfer well to Guitar Hero, hopefully with MIDIs replaced by MP3s.

Looking forward to it, whichever way it goes. I think it'll be good.

Wow, thats weird..but it could be cool. I used to play Guitar Hero like mad a few months ago..I just hope it has cool music tracks.

how is the DS facing the right direction? the front of the DS is on the same side of the guitar attachment. you'll be looking at the back of the DS if you hold the guitar.ultimateblue

Guitar Hero is awesome and I love my DS, but I think putting GH on DS will just... bad.

Guitar Hero is about the exprience, with big sounds, the guital controller... blah blah...

I think theDS will be attached on the neck guitar, so you can watch it while you play.

It's a natural way play the guitar with the eyes looking the left hand (or right to lefties)

The first guy from left to right has a guitar with a TV Device on the neck guitar. I think the DS peripheral will be something like that.
