I dont like how the fire one and the water one looks so ill go with the grass one its pretty awsome
and if i dont like that one i'll do like i did with previous pokemon games i'll just get hotter normal pokemon for example in firered i got: breloom for my grass pokemon
I went with Pochama since its final form has Water/Steel attributes.

Yeah his final form Enpuerto has Water/Steel attributes so electric pokemon wont really be a big deal:D
Steel types dont resist electric. water/steel resist posion x0 normal x0.5 ice x0.25 rock x0.5 bug x0.5Â flying x0.5 psychic x0.5 dragon x0.5 ghost x0.5 dark x0.5 water x0.5 steel x0.25 everthing else is either super effective or normal damage
I would also get the water one and probably try to get the fire one from a friend
At the moment, gotta go for Naetoru but when the game actually releases I may end up going with the Hikozaru. The turtle looks cool but the final form of the monkey just looks badass so yeah we'll see what happens. Â
Man.. i aint played a pokemon game since pokemon red and gold on the gameboy, and that owned real hard, used to play it at night after i came home from school in bed, catching pokemon and training them up used to be soooo much fun. I remember gold too, i was over the moon when i got that secret bird thingy, i nearly caught that wolf thing with the 3 heads too but i killed it by accident :(.. good times.. realy good times I normally always pick fire, but this is a hard one, everybody is picking water and i like to be different so i might just pick grass for a change, but i love looking in the forest and stuff for my grass type pokemon and i normally never pick water pokemon because fishing owns in the caves too with the lil rivers. Water grass and fire pokemon, just wondering what my other 3 are gonna be, i love thinking up the types i want.
i'm trying to think back in sapphire i picked water.
in gold i picked fire.
in diamond/pearl should be grass, but i still ain't sure i prefer the water but it's last evolution is a bit dodgy, but same with the grass, it's only the fire one which ain't weird, but that first and seconfd lok dodgy, it's hard to decide, and i hope i will make the right choice when it comes to it.

I was gonna go in order that way to. In Red I started with a water type(Squirtle), in Silver I started with a fire type(Cyndaquil) and in Ruby I started with a Grass type(Treecko). I was gonna start over and get a water type again... But that penguin just looks to girly. dude i did the exact same thing u did, lol, cept i didnt get Ruby or any of those. I would have picked treecko tho
Oh man! Pokemon! I'm the hugest fan. I've beaten every game with all the pokemon, different starters always. But this time I'll prabably only do one round through because it's prabably going to go online and we're all going to battle it out to be the best. I'm aiming towards Grass.

When I was in grade school, and all the kids got red and blue, EVERYONE played, and everyone did the same thing. We traded with each other, and got the first 3 starter pokemon in our 6 line up. Does everyone get the first 3 starter Pokemon, and then get another 3 and just use those all the way through? Or does anyone make a batch of elite pokemon, mabey 10-15, and use those? I think I actualy want to do that this time, that's be awesome.
When you start as Fire Type you kill quicker and level faster because you all ways start in a grass area and fire destroys it, but then you normally reacha gym where water or grass would be better, its a mix. Im gunna go for water this time i think, or grass, hmm or fire, i guess i have some time to think about it.
Apparently, the first gym leader in Diamond / Pearl uses rock-types (much like Brock), so a water or grass-type will have an advantage in early battles, rather than the fire-type.

Based on the moves it learns, the fire starter. Then the second time around probuably the water one and the grass one third. Unless I cheat and get both gamess then I'll just trade the other two from pearl to diamond. lol
The grass tipe looks like a rip off of the first grass starter, EMPERUTO (the final form for the water) Â is the best because he is ice and water so he can smoke grass types. The fire dude looks kewl to + he has a flaming butt 8)

Let me start off by saying that I'm a huge fan of Pokemon. I still have that 8-year old kid inside of me that drives me into purchasing these games (yet hiding the fact I play them from attractive people).
Over a year ago, I made a fake topic where I "predicted," or should I say "lied" about having extensive knowledge about upcoming Pokemon games. Using the ridiculous themes that they have chosen so far, I went on about how they were going to be called Diamond and Pearl. Stupidly enough, they actually chose those names for the upcoming titles.
I'm going with the Grass one because I love Turtles just like I use to choose Squirtle :) But they all look really cool might find someone to trade and get them all if I can. But I don't think you can trade starting Pokemon :'(
And this is the first poll I've seen ANYWHERE that the fire monkey hasn't been in last, wow! Ususally the penguin Pokemon is way in the first, followed by the grass, and then yeah.
i always pick the fire guy (since they are usually the fastest sweepers out of the three, 3rd gen was an exception, since it was sceptile that was the fastest)
