Diamond/Pearl starter pokemon

So which pokemon are you going to start with in D & P? I'm choosing the water guy

Stage 1:

I choose the fire one, I usually always go with the fire-type starter Pokemon.

Dodaitose looks the best out of the stage 3 forms

I've been goin fire ever since I picked up Red version way back when. And final monkey dude looks he's gonna kung fu you to death. Badass.

I've never played a Pokemon game, but decided that i'm gonna give it a shot this time around because i've always heard good things about 'em and I need a good RPG for my DS.

I have a couple questions though. First, do both versions have the same 3 starter Pokemon and second, lets say I choose the fire guy. Will I be able to catch the other 2 while playing the game?

YES both versions do hav the same starters and NO, only way to get the other starters is to go online and trade with any1 whos willin to let them go

Naetoru(Grass Starter)

Hikozaru(Fire Starter)

Pochama(Water Starter)

I went with Pochama since its final form has Water/Steel attributes.

Im pretty happy with this game:D

Yeah his final form Enpuerto has Water/Steel attributes so electric pokemon wont really be a big deal:D

Its been out in Japan, but i managed to snag myself a copy of Diamond:P

he/she could of ordered it from Japan

when pokemon red and blue came out, my friend kept starting a new file so he could send me all the starters, and sent extra ones,and then he'd wind up with the starters too in that process

looks like i'm gonna get to do it again cause i HAVE to have the penguin and monkey ones...the finals look pretty badass, except the turtle tree thing...kinda funky
