Finally something worth spending my coins on. Id been sitting on these things forever waiting for something other than patches, a poster or some playing cards.

I saw in my email today. I only have 650 coins :( I'd be all over it otherwise.

That should have been the platinum award instead of the garbage they offered.

I would... but I added up all the codes I have saved up but it is not enough. I HAD to buy those posters and tote bag.

I guess this is the day I cry myself to sleep for not having Club Nintendo available in my country. =P

I am waiting to get the yellow charging cradle, they are not available as of now.

I actually got my posters from Club Nintendo today. They are actually really nice, but of course two of them came crumbled along the edges. Kinda pissed.

I'd rather have that statue though.

Oh... I just finished spending coins. Oh well. I guess I'll wait for the 3DSXL charging cradle to be available again.

This is what I wanted them to start doing! Offering special prizes that cost a lot of coins so not just anybody could get it. More stuff like this, gold nunchuks, Game&Watches, and physical games or electronics are the type of prizes I would want. All the little paper and plastic items on Club Nintendo seem really cheap and do nothing for me or my collector side. And lets be honest, even if I didnt already have the actual cartridges I could download all the VC games plus any other old school game I wanted right now off the internet and play them on my laptop, smartphone, tablet, or even another system.

But seriously- this could have been one of the most exceptional platinum rewards in years. And with a 1500 coin pricetag, it could have still been a really exclusive item. But as it stands, I've got my two DS/3DS game cases, so I'm not too worried about it.

Those are 3DS play coins. You can use those on specific games or for the Streetpass Plaza.

Club Nintendo coins are obtained by registering your games to Club Nintendo and filling out surveys for prizes.

Oh okay, I have some then, just not 1,500 of them.

And now out of stock. At 1500 coins I honestly thought it would have hung around longer. So either they didn't make many or a ton of people had a lot of spare coins.

i suppose you could buy it with money on ebay anyway.

i dont have much space in my room though :P
