Anyone else skipping galaxy for now to get a more excitng looking game

I am. I'm tired of single player games that last 10 hours. I'm going to skip it to get Metal of Honor heroes with 32 player online. I can't wait to obliterate my friends online. I imagine that being more fun then yet another mario game. I may get it eventually but metroid prime 3 was a waste of money and didn't last long. I don't want to make that mistake again.

EDIT:but if i did have money i would get it like the week it came out

I'm gonna get it (SMG) for 2 reasons

1. It's gonna be awesome!

2. It might come packged with a demo for Brawl (we can all dream)

Why'd you even buy a Wii? You could have bought a 360 and then you would have gotten to play the dozens of FPS clones floating around, and they have online too! Wow! What a deal! You could play for years!

SMG isnt going to last 10 hours.
And your going to get a WW2 FPS (A concept which has been done over and over again) over a Platformer, a genre that barely has any stand out games in the last 5 years?

a better game this year then SMG?!?!?! wow, oh and 3d mario games are never really 10 hours, there all usually 15 if you dnt get everything, and 20 or so if you get everything.Minishdriveby

To finish the game, maybe. But that's not including the hours upon hours of replayability that the game has. Heck, I've put 11 years into Super Mario 64. :) ...and counting

10 HOURS OF GAMEPLAY? I'd bet you anything you couldn't collect all 120 stars in 10 hours on your first play through. Probably not ever. LOL.

There isn't another game for the Wii that looks more exciting then Super Mario Galaxy IMO and I think the majority of Wii owner's would agree with my view.

I'm skipping it..waitting for MoHH and RE Umbrella chronicles..those should keep me tied up long enough for Mario kart Wii.

plus Dementium the ward is due out at the end of the month so that will keep my attention till the 2 Wii titles I mentioned come out.. Great year for the Big N.. GO Reggie!

yeah, i was just saying that the game sotry wont last 10 hours, he seems like the guy that only plays through single player once.

last time I checked i've bought 2 of the best ones. being zelda TLP and metroid 3. And I'm waiting for better ones to come out.

The Mario series has advanced nicely and is never just the same game. Since it's taken the step to 3D the titles have been chaning quite a bit from system to system. If anything it's the WWII shooter your getting that you think you would be tired of seeing as how there have been a million of them released in the past five years.

I'l get a FPS for the Wii when someone comes up with a good concept of a shooter to fit the Wii. Something original and badas* with good multiplayer. Until then I'll chill on Battalion Wars 2.
