I saw that nintendo revealed the 3DS a ds with 3D effects without the need of glasses. I hope it lives up to its hype!tyranitar0310Heh, you're a bit late to the party, but yeah, I'm pumped for it. Seems like something developers could use in very interesting ways. :-)
It has the potential to be plasma hot if Nintendo can pull off the tech. I'm excited about the prospects of glasses-less 3D gaming but I do worry about headaches, nausea and developers failing to implement the technology properly.
Agreed, but I also wonder if the 3D will be any good. If its like the RealD 3D, that would be sweet. But I wonder if it will actually appear as if its like coming off the screen
Basically what he saidCan we please refrain from making these threads until E3 rolls around? Seriously, we don't even know what the damn thing looks like, let alone any titles coming out for it. :|

personally I think it looks awesome. I do think it needs to go beyond those incredibly boxy looking 3d effects seen in the video, but that was clearly a tech demo so I'm not worried.
Isn't it kind of silly to have an opinion about something you know so little about? I'm going to wait until I atleast see one to pass judgement on it.
All I know is that it's in Nintendo's capable hands.

I don't think so. I think portable 3d would be a safety issue and not something nintendo would make. Image walking in an airport and seeing miniature floating creatures while you walk. Id would have to be more personal.
Am I the only one who dislikes 3D effects? I seriously hope it's not going to become a "must have" in order to use all the next gen DS games.BlackMinistrelDude it's like the first time I have really wanted a new iteration of the ds
