So how long do you think until Nintendo will deliver? Apparently a lot of people in America are disappointed.

6 months? A year? Two? Never?

I almost predict a small version re-tooled for us without faceplates because I feel they think we aren't ready for that. I think we are, though. Who knows, though? Was just curious as to what people think.

# When Nintendo does release the small New 3DS here I shall buy one. I am just not into the XL variants of 3DS, New 3DS, DSi The small form factor is what I like since I actually use the system as a portable, so smaller is better. Plus having the feature of a custom face plate would be a nice option. Should one feature my favorite Nintendo franchise or Character.

I am just disappointed Nintendo has deprived people of North America the choice of a New 3DS or a New 3DS XL. Nintendo didn't give U.S.A freedom of choice when Oceania, Asia and Europe have gotten both versions of the New 3DS

Honestly I think they'll do it for this Christmas period, and announce it around E3 this year.

seeing as the new 3ds xl sold out almost everywhere i doubt they are feeling any sort of sting that would make them feel inclined to release the smaller new 3ds in NA

so i doubt theyll ever "break" but i do believe theyll just release it eventually because of "why not"

the amount of people that would actual refuse to buy a new 3ds xl and only by the smaller new 3ds isnt big enough to force nintendo's hand, but nintendo likes money so i think they were always planning on releasing the small new 3ds in north america

Graphics are better. Weird, I know, but since the XL has the same resolution of the smaller one, the pixels are larger and reduces the clarity a bit. This is why some people still prefer the smaller 3DS. Also, some find the smaller to be more comfortable.

There is an exceedingly high probability that, after they sell a fair amount of n3DS XL units in the US, that they will the "bring" the normal size over in order to make even more money. You should probably expect the smaller n3DS by Christmas.

They should do it for the small hands folk out there. I have huge hands so I'm glad they launched with an XL version. Plus the XL can fit in my pocket.
