What's the longest time you spent on a singleplayer game?

The longest time I've spent with a singleplayer game is Final Fantasy XII with over 120 hours

Well I got about 100 hours on Dragon Quest IX although I have a sneaking suspision that I have spent more time with Wind Waker or Majora's Mask. (No way to tell in those games.)

According to Disgaea 3...about 250 hours.:P

Final Fantasy XII. Must've spent like 180+ hours on it. In my first run, I just played it for the story, which clocked around 60 hours. In my second playthrough, I did the optional stuff, and yeah, there's so many things to do. Easily spent more than 100 hours in this run.

Probably Street Fighter 2 in the arcades considering I spent probably like $1000 just popping coins in the machine :P

I spent months playing Xenogears, 1 - 2 hours a day, 78 hours in total. Quite incredible for one single playtrough.

For me, Just Cause 2, clocking in at 286 hours. I don't think I've had so much fun blowing stuff up.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Spent more hours and time on that game than I could count.

3 hours playing fable 2.

My last Morrowind character had 300ish hours on it. I explored every single cave and dungeon, got every legendary artifact, finished all three main campaigns, cleared the DLC quests, did every sidequest, finished every guild and house questline (aside from the ones you get locked out of due to decisions), and to top it off, I got the Tamriel Rebuilt mod and full-cleared that as well. Perhaps when they finish more content I'll continue that character's journey.

All characters and playthroughs combined, that game has probably seen a good 600 or so hours on it since release.

I played the majority of 6 1/2 years in Final Fantasy XI solo... my time would be calculated in months!

Aside from that, I always put in 100s of hours on any Bethesda game.

I don't really feel like starting up my games and checking, but to guess I would say Oblivion probably has the most, somewhere around 300-400 hours between all of my characters, followed by fallout 3 which easily has over 200 hours, then Fallout New Vegas which has about 100-120 hours.

There are quite a few other titles that I've pumped tons of time into, but those three are tops.

I've spent about 200 hours on Mount and Blade: Warband so far... and I haven't even completed either of my playthroughs.

probably close to 100hrs on gta san andreas. and that was when it was the only game i knew about, i don't think i could spend anywhere near that time on any game anymore...i don't know how anyone can play a game for more than 200 hours without being bored mindless

I remember having over 500 hours on Pokemon Yellow. And I replayed that same catridge many times. Not to mention I also had Red and Blue which I played quite a lot too.

Final Fantasy VII- My first file on that game had around 120 hours on it alone. If you consider that I've beat the whole game about 3 times and have done varying degress of the side quests each time, I'd say that I've put close to 200-hours on that game.

It used to be Neverwinter Nights at 64 hours but Fallout New Vegas just beat that out at 65 hours. There's plenty of games form my online days I didn't track.

I have around 500 hours or so with Flight Simulator 2004. I probably have 200 hours or so with Silent Hunter III also.

There's no way for me to know for sure, but I'd say it's a real toss-up between the following games:

Fallout 3
Ultima 7
Demon's Crest (numerous, numerous replays)
