Exactly, there you go. Would be a cool transition if you didn't listen to anything, at first, but if you get some headphones, you could plug those into your smartphone, bring up your song list, and then play a song, which instantly comes alive as you are running around, doing whatever.

I'd like to have that feature. It'd be cool if you could also purchase different headphones. From earbuds to full-sized over-ear headphones.

New trailer! Not crazy about the music, but the game looks amazing.

The trailer is a lot better than the first one. Showed us glimpses of gameplay and cut scenes and it also looked absolutely amazing. Could be the best-looking game of our gen!

We need new threads for new info/trailers. How many people are really going to check out a 100+ post thread months before release?

Anyway, trailer looks great. Very action packed. Some of the stunts look straight out of Uncharted. Guy jumping off trains, guy dangling from a truck, guy jumping off a plane. I like where this is going. :D

Good to see a more accurate version of the graphics, the first trailer looked insane, this one looks more like a console game.

Regarding the game though, it looks like they have retained the realistic look, while perhaps going back to the over-the-top style action. Fighter jets, crashing trains, jumping out of a plane in a suv...wow.

Bottom line--it looks like it's gonna be fun as hell.

Are you kidding? Sleeping Dogs, while a game that looks great, looks tame compared to what we've seen for GTA V.

Los Santos will be bigger than IV, San Andreas and Red Dead Redemption combined. That's all I know about its size.

When I heard about the 3 protagonist idea, I thought it'd be a welcome change for the series, but has anyone besides me considered the mind-blowing possibility of 3-player co-op for the main game? Rockstar says the multiplayer in GTA5 would "rewrite open world multiplayer", and I don't put it past them to include this (although I imagine it'd be pretty tough to do) as a bomb-shell announcement down the road.

Just imagine being in the city, doing your own thing, and then meeting up for a mission (or texting a friend, in game using your cell for some backup), or even just a game of golf. Of course, it wouldn't be anything other than online co-op, because I don't think the 360/PS3 could handle rendering the world twice on the same screen, but it's entirely possible.

What's funny is, doing a Google search on this subject yields very few results (maybe 2 forum posts in different places on the Internet), so this would indeed be a suprise to almost everyone, and R* loves shaking things up.

I'm crossing my fingers, as unlikely as this is to materialize.

Tbh I think Sleeping Dogs' graphics were pretty unimpressive. Even compared to GTA4 (more so if you consider the time past between the two titles). Regardless, I will definitely be comparing this to Sleeping Dogs, which for me felt like the missing link between San Andreas and GTA 4, in terms of freedom and activities on the side.

By analyisng both trailers and some screenshots, here is a list of vehicles we can expect to see in the game, i'm not going to list every car I see and figure out what car it is because that will take forever:

Aircraft:

• Blimp (I don't think these will be flyable as there were Blimps in Vice City but they were only decorative and were not even solid)
• Cropduster

• A new plane, possibly a new Dodo

The game is huge and I believe the story will be more than capable of holding this game together. Otherwise what's the point. I think Rockstar will not disappoint all of those patient and loyal fans.

Honestly, if the draw/view distance hasn't been increased substantially, then I don't think I'm going to be able to get into this as much as I would like. Having gone back to GTA 4 (and the expansions,) I have had a very HARD time overlooking the fact that people, cars, and just about every other in-game asset fades in and out of view at relatively short distances. It's distracting and kind of kills the immersion that a sandbox game needs.
