Any of these 3 is perferable to the plain old "I Voted" emblem. I already have a generic voting emblem and I don't need another one.

This is some seriously lazy bull crap on Gamespots part. They need to fix this and fix the various emblem bugs that still plague the site, or I won't be re-subscribing this year.

If GS doesn't even care for emblem designs, why make them?

No offence is meant to the designer of the "I voted" emblem, or any GS staff member that had anything to do with it, in the following post. This is just my opinion on something that I honestly don't agree with.

I'm not an emblem obsessed user, but I have to say that GS f'd up BIG TIME on this decision.

1. The emblem looks horrible and doesn't really make much since with the Vote Rocker already existing.
2. It's in the wrong place on the profile. It should at least be next to the Best of 2005 emblem.
3. Heck, the description is rather lackluster as well and what's with the random " at the end?

I don't usually rant about GS and there glitches or things like that, but this is just laziness at it's best.

He didn't create that emblem. The top 3 were created by him and the actual one was created by Gamespot. Go and have a closer look.

The Best of 2006 emblem is pure crap compared to the past "Best of" emblems. The emblem we received for that just had no effort put into it at all. It's the Vote Rocker emblem with no guitar! How lazy can you get? Really. With me taking the time and effort to actually vote in the Best of 2006 Awards, I think who ever does the emblems could have shown some appreciation by taking the time and effort to actually make a good emblem. Hell, it could have been a palette swap of the old "Best of" emblems and I would have been satisfied.

Yes I do know, because I'm one of them. I don't have or want that many emblems. This isn't about emblems, it's about a distinct lack of effort on Gamespots part. It's about the fact that Gamespot couldn't even be bothered when the work was already done for them.

This is a symptom of a larger and growing problem.

People are upset over this because it's just pathetic how little amount of effort was put into this emblem.  We're calling for a change, and one person even supplied GS with a replacement.  Apparently it's too much work for them to swap out the image and the description.
