this game is the second best game ever made.. on pc or mac... buy it... play it...
the plot-line is amazing.. music creates perfect atmosphere... best voice acting ever... best system of gameplay....

Fallout is ( like you read everywhere) an post-nuclear waste land in all of its glory!
you start in a vault when you find out that the vault's water supply is running low. you have been chosen to go out and find a replacement water-chip for the vault.
you must do this in 150 days... allthough there are people who will sell you water for cash .. to give you more time if needed.
along the way are many side quests and if you are lucky, another main quest.
you can join the brotherhood of steel to assist them to eventually destroy the mutants and supermutants... ( mutated humans... they were affected by the radiation from the nuclear war... or some have been converted into mutants by chemicals....
this is also another way to end the game.. by becoming one of them... which eventually kills your vault with all you "friends" )
there are random encounters, awesome turnbased combat and well worth the money :D ...
