Without disrespecting this page I can say that they've never score a Dragon Ball game for what that kind of games are: "A fan's made game". You just keep talking about how the game mechanics haven't change and how the game bring so little improvement to the series but you don't see that those games have what we really want on a Dragon Ball game, the only thing you're doing by scoring this game so low is that the already fans of the series and the new coming fans (because it's a fact that the Dragon Ball series even to date keeps growing on fans) don't want to buy or at least rent this great games. The very proof of this is the score that you gave to the "Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3" for PS2, that game is the best of the Dragon Ball series games and even by knowing that you score it so low. I still see young gamers playing with a lot of fun the Tenkaichi 3 game.

Maybe you can say: "we have to be objective at the moment of scoring" "we can't just score a game for the fans" and a lot of etcetera but I think that this is a campaign against this games; for example, the game "FIFA 11" got an Editor's Choice score of "9.0" and "FIFA 10" got an Editor's Chioce score of "9.0"… will you really tell me that those scores are not "fan's scores"? That those scores are truly objective? Because I played both games and I can say that the improvement from one to another is very little. Now I'm not saying that you need to reduce the score of the FIFA games (at the end there're a lot of fans that really want those games), I'm saying that you have to be equal with every game, saying the truth of every game.

The Dragon Ball game series has done a lot since the very first game came to light, they've gone from one gameplay to another trying to please the followers of the series (because in the end it's what every game does "please the followers of the game") and since "Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3" they found the right formula to express this games, to really let the player to take control of the Dragon Ball fighting style. Don't tell me please that these games need a game mechanics like the Tekken series (the best fighting game on 3D) or like Street Fighter (the best fighting game on 2D). I'm a fighting gamer and I can say for sure (like a Dragon Ball fan and like a Fighting games fan) that these games will not work with that gameplay mechanics.

Since the bad work Atari made with "Dragon Ball Z Burst Limit" now Bandai Namco are hearing us, they've returned to the Tenkaichi formula with Raging Blast, they hear our complains and now they bring to us "Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2".

The gameplay mechanics it's the same of the Tenkaichi 3 and Raging Blast games, but now with the improvement of graphics we can see the combos in a more stylish way. As you already know the combos of every character follows the same buttons combination for every of them but the way that every character apply the combos are very different from one to another (the easiest example is that, for example, the combo of Burter is very fast meanwhile the combo of Broly is more heavy and slow) making you feel that you're really playing with that character. Adapting not only the special and super-special moves but also by giving you the fighting style that every character has.

Another improvement from the previous game is the character roster grows, it's not the roster of Tenkaichi 3 but at least Bandai Namco heard us and added the characters that went missing on the previous games. The camera still doesn't work as it supposed to but at least it feels a little more gently (hope they change that for the next game).

The other things are just the same that the gamespot review says. In the end this is not the game that can destroy Tenkaichi 3, this game also don't deserve a perfect score but it's a great game for the followers of the game, the storyline has grown (because the addition of more characters) and the new game modes they added are good. An 8.0 is what this game is worth, it misses a lot of elements, the improvements are not so high but it's a game that surpassed the previous games and if you are a Dragon Ball fan this game will give you what you really want.
