E3 2014: Every Video Game Release Date Announcement

Here's a full list of every release date announced so far at this year's E3 for Xbox One, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and 3DS.

E3 is a popular place to announce new games, but it's perhaps an even more popular venue for announcing release dates. And in that regard this year's show has not disappointed so far--whether it's the beta for Destiny or PlayStation Now, The Last of Us Remastered, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, or any number of other games, there's a good chance that, if it's a game coming out this year, we now know its release date.

What follows below is a complete look at the release dates (and frustratingly vague release windows) announced at E3 so far. We'll be updating this list throughout the week, so even if you don't see what you're looking for, check back and you may just find what you're looking for.

PlayStation 4

Xbox One

I was looking towards this years E3 to finally decide what next gen to get... turns out almost all of the games I want comes out on PC, and the few that don't come out on the 360... so why Next Gen...even yet?

Thank you Gamespot for the list, now finish it.

That's ok Gamespot, I can wikipedia the rest of the complete list, you just take it easy and keep complaining about how women are depicted in video games..

Why isn't Mortal Kombat X on the list? It's supposed to be released on 2015, isn't it?

ricku1967

why did they omit the witcher 3, dragon age, the order, and on and on...the title of this clearly says "

Every Video Game Release Date Announcement"...clearly they lied

I hope I am not too old when Mirror's Edge 2 comes out XD

Vita needs more games like gravity Rush and Uncharted Golden Abyss. A Tekken game would be nice too :P

@wookiegr  I see that we are beating the dead horse again, aren't we?

imajinn

@Eraldus Because this isn't close to "the complete list" as they are trying to say.

@10854 I have pretty much just given up. I have a mind to boycott it if it ever came out, just because Valve's been such a jerk about it.

(I'd buy it at Midnight launch, who am I kidding)

@thomstacks @trackles How could you two possibly say that xbox has "won" simply because there are more games. Personally, I'd take fewer complete games than a bunch of low budget games that aren't fun at all. I think we'll be able to determine a winner when we actually have a chance to  play the games, which means its' way to early to determine a "winner" or a looser.

In addition, the majority of the games are from third party developers with no exclusivity for either console. The majority of these games will run at a higher resolution and an increased frame rate on the PlayStation 4, so really if anyone wins its the PlayStation 4 or PC.

thomstacks

@jrod115683 as u said, fun to play games should help decide, not resolution and frame rate..not to say that Xbox One has more Exclusives than PS4 according to this article.as a matter of fact,i have both consoles so am jux gonna play all games anyway

metallinatus

@themc_7 @metallinatus I'm dead sure nobody was expecting to see what they saw when Zelda was displayed.... and the fact that it was one of the most anticipated games of this E3 is a plus to the reason for the announcement being so big.

shaddi18

@thomstacks

The same multiplatform game at a higher resolution and frame rate on PS4 is obviously a win for PS4.

themc_7
themc_7

@metallinatus @themc_7 you are probably right.

I have a confession to make. I have never played a Zelda game in my life, and I have no interest in the series. After watching the trailer, I said "meh"

ben2970
ben2970

@themc_7 @metallinatus Simply not being interested in the genre and style is reason enough I guess. Otherwise, you have A LOT of entertainment and fun and joy ahead of you if you reconsider starting the Zelda series, starting with Ocarina of Time.

themc_7
themc_7

@ben2970 @themc_7 @metallinatus It's one of those games were if you missed the boat in 1998(Oracina of Time) it's too late now. I'm not going back through N64 to play OoT and Majora's Mask, Gamecube for Twilight Princess and Wind Waker, Wii for Skyward Sword and Then WiiU for this game.

Now, if there was a super, HD remake, collector's edition, with all the above listed games, I'd dive in head first and probably love it. But that's probably never gonna happen.

ddmanzur
ddmanzur

You don't need an N64 for Ocarina of Time, nor a GameCube for Twilight Princess and Wind Waker. You can play those on 3DS and Wii U.

Just sayin'...
