The 1st WWF Game I remember playing

User Rating: 8 | WWF War Zone PS
Back when I was younger wrestling was a big thing in the 90s (hopefully it will be this good again some day but not for awhile). Everyone at my school, neighborhood or anywhere else (or like 90% of them at least) were fans. It was during the time with WWF (now WWE) vs WCW for TV Ratings. Both were great companies even though WCW is no longer around, I still prefer it. My friends and family call me the biggest wrestling fan they know. Today I still am a fan. Now on to the review. Before I played this game I wanted an N64 for Christmas that year (got PSX instead but loved it) and I saw this game being advertised in a magazine and I thought it looked fun, though i didn't get it. One day after school one of my kindergarden teachers took me to her house (she would do that sometimes) and her handicap son (also a wrestling fan) had a bunch of wrestling posters, action figures, probably some movies and some video games. IDK if he had this for the N64 or PSX but I remember playing this thinking it was fun. What I only remember from back then is I think I was playing as Shawn Michaels or Bret Hart and he was playing as British Bulldog (IDK who won). Another thing I remember is he made a CAW and called it "Travis Giant". The last thing I remember is I was playing as Kane and he was playing as i think Stone Cold Steve Austin. I remember him saying that I won and it shows a close up of the wrestler who wins, which I remember it show Kane's mask up close. Years later me and my brother found this game for a decent price on Amazon.com and it came in the mail, it was harder than I remember but we enjoy it. A major flaw is only one arena and the controls are quite difficult at times. I recommend picking this up if you're a fan of old school wrestling games.
