WWF war zone for the ps one is pretty good !
The game has a variety of features like superstar biographies, win/loss records, a multiplayer mode and a variety of matches like single, career, cage matches, tag team matches, weapon(hardcore) matches. Upto 4 players can play this game.
The gameplay system is simple enough, each superstar starts off with a health meter, when depleted will turn into the stun meter, with which you can either perform a grapple or a pin, but the pin meter depletes soon in the beginning but takes a while to deplete after the opponent has been beaten up for a long time. The controls are also simple. The multiplayer mode is pretty good.
Each superstar has their own set of attributes. The wrestlers you can select are : Austin,HBK, Bret and Owen Hart, The Rock, Farooq, HHH, Mosh ,Thrasher, the British Bulldog, Ken Shamrock,Kane and the Undertaker and your created superstar, speaking of which the create a superstar mode is dull, as I said before.
The graphics of the game are surprisingly good for the ps one. The ring, the superstars look great.
The sound is good, with funny commentary by jr and vince , superstar music and superstar voices of good sound quality.
This game is worth buying , as you wont get bored of it for a looooooooooong time! On the whole, I've given wwf war zone for the ps one 8.3 out of 10 coz I really liked it a lot and thought tat it's worth playing!
