there's nothing to do that is of meaningful consequence! a huge disappointment when compared with victoria 1 with VIP.

victoria 1 was a diamond in the rough which over time was perfect by the dedicated modding community (the Victoria Improvement Patch made the game.) however in paradox's desire to make victoria 2 as realistic as possible, there is nothing to do except set spending slidders and click the 'improve relations' button so everything that was good about the improved victoria 1 was thrown out and replaced by an automated system. many of the flavour events have been thrown out, the tutorial is dull and unhelpful, the graphics are outdated, and there are a huge number of bugs. the amount of bugs can be normally expected from paradox but considering all you do is watch your country 'develope' how could it go so wrong? the repaired victoria 1 is a great game but victoria 2 is beyond repair, because most of the previous elements are no longer there to repair, this game was a huge disappointment.
