This game is unique because it came out in 1997 and is still played now in 2006. That alone says something about the value of this game. And it being a RTS from 1997 I personally am impressed with the graphics for its time.

And say you did get bored of the same old maps and units. There are hundreds of maps and units all over the Internet which can spice up your game any time you'd like. Unlike some other RTS games I have had the chance to play Total Annihilation's difficulty settings can suit any player. From the experts down to the newb. The hard is hard and the easy is easy which can keep the game fun longer.

  Total Annihilation is the best RTS of any age, it was ahead of its time, and still beats out modern strategy games.
