In case you were planning on buying the game for Anna Kornikova...she looks alright here. The game has a lot of tennis players, in case there are such things as people who watch tennis. The graphics in this game are great, but that's not important. Top Spin will provide the best rounds of electronic tennis ever. It's a sim at heart, but anyone can get into it. Including non-tennis fans. There's a tutorial that does a good job explaining all of your means of whacking balls. There's a fair amount of strategy, but its easy to pick up. The Career mode makes you create a tennis player (you have a good deal of choice for appearance and other traits) and build you're way to the top. You'll travel around the world, winning tournaments, competing in mini-games to improve different skills and masteries, and earning sponsorships from actual clothing lines. Its fairly accurate and offers a good amount of value. The game provides a solid Xbox Live experience. Unfortunatly, you can only face one person at a time- no four player doubles play online. Also, a lot of people have mastered the risk shots, so prepare to get thrashed online. Anyone with a remote interest in tennis should buy Top Spin in a heartbeat. Even if you don't like tennis, the game is very accessable to newcomers and can be enjoyed by all.
