The king of skating games is still here.

User Rating: 9.3 | Tony Hawk's American Wasteland PS2
Tony Hawk's American Wasteland is turning out to be a classic Hawk game. Even though it feels like THUG 2 a little, it has it's new features and draw backs. Even though the story mode has no Pro skaters (from where I'm at in the game) it offers up no loading time, exept if you take the bus to different parts of L.A.

This version of Tony Hawk adds BMX to the mix. I though the controlls would be sloppy, but Neversoft managed to pull it off. The BMX controlls feels like the controlls from the Matt Hoffman games, but more polished by letting you use the buttons to do tricks and the right controll stick for whip tricks.

The usual modes return. Story mode (In story mode, you play as a skater from rural America that just arrived in L.A. to tries to make it as a skater), create mode (create a- trick, character, park, and sticker/decal) Classic mode, and multiplayer (including new Co-op Classic mode where two players can play through classic mode).
