What the hell?
User Rating: 8 | Tony Hawk's American Wasteland PS2
Despite being short as hell, and really easy, THAW is a really fun experience. However, all the innovative and creative ideas from the previous games seem to fade away, or are being reused too much. The graphics look really good, even better than THUG2. This game is huge, and has many things to do, but it all feels like a giant tutorial. They put you exactly where you have to go, instead of going old-school and put you a good distance away, and for you to get there yourself. The story line is short though. I was pissed when i reached the ending in just 7 hours, SEVEN FRIGGIN HOURS!!!!!!!
As a long-time Tony Hawk Fan, i think this is the 2nd worse game after THPS2. However, the game does have the same simple controls, and its simple to make a trick, or a combo. The soundtrack is pwnage noneheless. Other than that, i give this game an 8.0 out of 10
