Excellent graphics and Online more than outdo the pressured story.

User Rating: 7.5 | The Conduit WII
+Great Graphics and overall presentation.
+Some of the best online multiplayer the wii has seen yet.
+Extra attention payed to some small details.
+Great Controls
-Too tense and pressured with no peaceful or free moments.
-Little variety in locations leads to dull exploration.
-Remote-disconnected Story
-Respawning enemies and a variety of other enemy problems make the game frustratingly hard.
The conduit is without a doubt a rare find for the wii, there are only a handful of wii first person shooters and even fewer t-rated ones...yet the conduit does a great job of making it feel like an experience you might see on the 360/ps3 but yet even with a t-rating it doesn't feel stripped down of features that give so many fps's an M-rating.
The Conduit is based in the near future in and near Washington DC.You play as Michael Ford who is needed to help fight off the onslaught of invading aliens and enemy agents. This is without a doubt a true-to-roots fps with various common staples but is almost too much so by the fact that (aside from cover art) you never actually see Ford..only hear him in the mission briefings before each mission and his hands once you die...it would've been extremely refreshing to have at least have seen him during pre-mission cut-scenes..with enemies aside you seldom see any characters...only voices and fuzzy pictures.
Conduit's main and worst problem is the over-bearing pressure added on throughout the entire game. There is never any time to rest and go through just a normal level after defeating a boss..every level feels like it has to be an epic standoff with respawning enemies and massive enemies that take up the little ammunition you have...while this sounds like adrenaline pumping fun it is an entirely different story when put into action. You are constantly pressured to fight through even more armies of enemies without 1 peaceful normal level.
With negative features aside Conduit has some of the best online play of any wii title.Multiple modes, weapons, and locations keep things fresh all the time and model customization adds even more detail which helps the multiplayer far out-last the rather short campaign.
Conduit for wii is a must have for any wii-owners library to add variety and is one of the more outstanding 3rd party titles for wii.
